[It's maybe half an hour after Cordis' first moonrise of the month when Akechi comes onto the network, sounding...mildly distressed.]

Does anyone know where I could find pants that would fit over a tail? Specifically one that I can't just slide through a hole.

[He pauses, and there's the sound of feathers rustling.]

Some advice on modifying existing clothing to fit would be nice too. And, as a lower priority...shirts I can wear with wings.

(OOC: Ren Amamiya is going to be bringing him something he can wear, but general advice is still welcome. He'll turn down offers to bring him clothing directly from anyone he doesn't know and who isn't about the same size as him.)

Is that so? I see... That's right. The culture here is quite different from normal, for most of us. If I hadn't arrived to a place even worse than this prior to coming here, I might be in a similar situation as you.

[He sounds like he's genuinely intrigued by that, but he trails off and snaps back to the topic, chuckling softly.]

What an interesting sounding tail. ♪ I'm a little envious, since mine is always something like a small rabbit's tail, not elegant at all. Let's see, you'd have to be gentle with the feathers, so I see why a hole wouldn't quite work... Something like buttons or a slit may be preferred.

If you'd like, I can always introduce you to one of the shop owners I work closely with. Since I've been growing a little in the public eye, he's eager to help me with small things like this without issue.

It is...I'm from a culture where even family members rarely touch one another. Any sort of frequent contact would be reserved for lovers, and...well, I'm not exactly in a romantic relationship, either.

It must be that we're from separate versions of Japan, as my family is large enough to have influence over not only Japan, but the world, you see. The fact that my name wasn't recognized tells me that much... but I'm still pleased to meet someone from a similar background.

And I'm a household name in Tokyo, so if you've been there and don't recognize me, we're certainly not from the same place. That's...an interesting concept, though. This is the first time I've heard of different versions of otherwise similar planets.

Well, that's just all the more reason to take you up on your offer. Especially since I plan to investigate this planet's history.

I've been putting a lot of my time into either research or exploring the city, but I'm sure I can make time. One of the things I've been looking for is restaurants worth reviewing online, so maybe we could talk over lunch.

Maybe once I finish this round of digging? I'll want to take some time to sort through the information I find before I follow up on it with more research, and I don't currently have any other cases to work on in the meantime.
