Does anyone know where I could find pants that would fit over a tail? Specifically one that I can't just slide through a hole.

[He pauses, and there's the sound of feathers rustling.]

Some advice on modifying existing clothing to fit would be nice too. And, as a lower priority...shirts I can wear with wings.



(OOC: Ren Amamiya is going to be bringing him something he can wear, but general advice is still welcome. He'll turn down offers to bring him clothing directly from anyone he doesn't know and who isn't about the same size as him.)

Someone has suggested cutting a slit and sewing in a clasp above the tail. I could also try something with a very low back, that would fit right under the tail.

That could work, yes. I think I can make that happen. The clasp. Hmm, but you are not like this all of the time. It would be better to alter new clothes for this, I think.

I might need to stick to looser or shorter pants, anyway. I have paws instead of feet right now, and that's changed my leg structure enough that comfortably fitted pants for my normal form would probably feel a bit tight around my knees.

Well...unless I could get away with a skirt, anyway.

So if you wish, I can take measurements and sew you something custom. [She clears her throat.]

O-or, if you prefer a skirt. Others do wear some here. [Seems to be free fashion.]

I'm definitely going to need some pants if I'm going to be testing these wings. And, I would prefer to have my measurements taken by someone I know over an unfamiliar tailor.

Of course, I'll be sure to pay you back for the cost of the materials, one way or another.

Absolutely, I will do my best to measure you! And...I guess we could always figure out payment later for the materials. It is more important that you are comfortable.

Paying in Chroma would be pretty easy, as long as it's something you're okay with.

And you can come over to take measurements whenever you're comfortable. After moonset, I should be able to at least get the materials to modify something to preserve decency.

We have been more open to holding hands...I do not mind.

That sounds like a good plan. Because of how volatile it is, I can spend more time there to monitor how your changes work, and then make you something you like. And try to do it in a way that suits your tastes.

That's a good point...I wouldn't want to commit to specific adaptations, and then find out that my legs are completely different tomorrow night.

I wouldn't mind at all, as long as you don't mind it only being furnished for one person. I hadn't thought about the idea of entertaining guests for more than a quick visit when I was shopping.

My bed is technically big enough for two people, as long as you don't mind cuddling up. I can buy some more...transformation friendly nightclothes tomorrow.
