[ventus has the camera propped up against something on the counter as he mixes together what looks like the dry ingredients for cookies. there's some flour stuck to his cheek and chiirthy perched atop his head and precariously leaning forward to peer into the mixing bowl. it raises a paw, as if about to say something when it just

tumbles

into the dry mix, sending flour and whatnot up into the air like a giant white cloud. it hits ventus right in the face and the camera's edges are touched with flour. chirithy pops up out of the bowl and laughs a little sheepishly.

ventus just sighs.]

I think... I messed up somewhere along the way.

[Sora comes in and glances around, curious about the apartment Ven got.]

[it's pretty ordinary for now. just a simple two bedroom apartment with one of the doors closed. there's some throw blankets on the couch and some signs around of slowly being lived in. ven even has a small potted plant by the balcony windows.]

Oh, thanks. [thankfully the kitchen isn't too bad, but it's obvious where chirithy made a mess of the dry ingredients earlier. little white paw prints litter the floor and counter tops.] Do you feel brave enough to try a cookie?

[Sora helps him with cleaning and considers the paw prints.]

Oh! That's right. I saw you had a chirithy?

Huh? Oh-

[ven looks up to respond when he's suddenly cut off by chirithy appearing out of nowhere to land on sora's head - still covered in flour, of course.]

Hello Sora!

[Sora is surprised when the creature lands on him and then he laughs as he reaches him to take him into his arms.]

Hello Chirithy.

Wait... do you know me because of my connection with Ven? Or are you the one who was helping me out before?

Both! I'm so happy we can see each other again, Sora!

[chirithy waves his paws up at sora as he settles in sora's arms. ven watches them both curiously, tilting his head.]

Chirithy helped you?

Uh, yeah. It's kind of a long story.

[And to Chirithy] And hey! That means Ven is the friend you told me about? I'm so happy you reunited with him.

A long story, huh...

[pouting a little, but it disappears as soon as it appears. if it was really important then sora would tell him.

ven's expression shifts into a grin aimed at chirithy.]

Now that you're here maybe you'll finally let me wash all that flour off of you-? [at the mention of a bath chirithy perks up and with a small 'uh-oh!' disappears from sora's arms in a puff of smoke. ven can't help but smile a little.] Wow...

[Sora chuckles a bit.] That kinda reminds me of me when I was little.

Anyway, I said I would help you clean your kitchen. Let's get started?

You seem like someone who probably got yourself and everyone around you dirty.

[and for all ven knows maybe he was the same too growing up. he shakes his head to dispel the thought and turns back to the kitchen.]

I can work on the dishes if you clean off the counters? [so many chirithy paw prints in flour everywhere]

[He laughs a bit at the accusation and doesn't deny it. Instead, he focuses on getting started on the countertops.]

Man, I can't believe I'm willingly doing chores. Usually, I'd try to get Donald to do them all.
