It's none of my business what others do with their abilities. [ if they're using them for awful things, there are less underhanded ways to stop them. ]

Don't know yet. The magic here is different than what I use back home, but if it's anything like what I did for the princess back home, I could do something similar!

the question makes him pause, considering it. .. he's not really from anywhere, he supposes. but he had slept thirty years in nibelheim, so maybe that's the closest he has to a home these days. ]

the question makes him pause, though, uncomfortable. it's no one's business. and yet.. bull had been.. understanding. ] .. In a way. If it's.. safe.

Well, it's your choice if that's what you want to do. I'm not here to stop you. You could say I was just curious.

If it's safer for others. [ the last thing he wants to do is lose control here, in this crowded city full of people that can be hurt so easily. ]

I like you. You've got some stuff in your past but that's not going to change me liking you. So I figure if I'm wanting to be your friend I should care about what you do with your life even if it only means knowing what's going on in it.

I've noticed...it's harder to grow flowers here. It really wears me out. It may be the same for you? But I can understand why you might be worried.

I'm a physicist by career, but an engineer in practicality. The limiters had interested me too, though perhaps not for the same potential purpose.

[ it is more difficult to hear their voices. they're still there, of course--there's no removing them at this point--but they're not the clamor they usually are. it doesn't mean he trusts them, even with chaos to help control them.
