The limiters from the tournament.. could they be altered for a particular use? If it's possible, I'd like to speak to people with that capability.

[Aerith listens, measures her words carefully. Often she would barrel into situations like this, but death and time both have tempered her impulse for bluntness.]

I've noticed...it's harder to grow flowers here. It really wears me out. It may be the same for you? But I can understand why you might be worried.

If you ever find yourself worrying, you can always talk to me. It might be better if you weren't alone, you know?

Do you think the limiter might help? I can help you look for one too, if you need it.

[ it is more difficult to hear their voices. they're still there, of course--there's no removing them at this point--but they're not the clamor they usually are. it doesn't mean he trusts them, even with chaos to help control them.

aerith is like this, though, isn't she? she'd been a kind girl before, but there's a different sort of maturity to her now. he supposes death has a way of changing one. (he'd know that, wouldn't he?) ]

I.. [ he hesitates. ] I have one. Broken, but not badly damaged. And I'm not certain if it will help. [ he hadn't tried one before. technically his body is.. dead, after all. who knows what might have happened? ]

Even if you're not sure, it's worth trying if it'll make you more comfortable. That's what I think, anyway.

Hm. It's a shame Cid isn't here...well, I suppose it isn't a shame, but — I bet he'd be able to figure something out!

I've been trying to learn more about the plantlife here. If the limiter doesn't work, maybe I can find something that does on my end of things.

He would. [ a pause. ] He'd probably enjoy the technology. [ and being on another planet. other aspects, though..? not so much. he can almost hear the familiar gruff voice cursing a blue streak about his new animal traits. ]

Could be. You should focus on you this time around, though. [ she's a friend and he's grateful that she wants to help, but he also wants her to have a chance to make the best of her time here, too. ]

It would give him something to tinker with, that's for sure. He'd complain the whole time though...that's just how he is.
