[Hanzo is positioned in the same way in front of the camera as he was the last time he had to make a message like this, but this time his hair is overgrown and white, but he has the wild locks pushed over one shoulder making it seem just a bit neater.]

Hello again. This is Hanzo Shimada.

Last month I asked if there would be any interest in a brothel catering to Moonblessed, and while there were a lot of people who did not understand or did not approve of the concept, there were also those who did show interest. Some who were not interested also voiced approval for the idea.

So on the first day of this month's triple moon cycle, I would like to announce the opening of Flux. We are located on Level 3.

We have job openings for paid moonlacing partners as well as security personnel. Please let me know if you are interested, and I will provide more information to you. Otherwise if you have questions, I have time to answer them.

[Before ending the video, he leaves his desk to go to the outside of the building for a good shot of the entrance should anyone prefer speaking with him in person instead.]

Part time as well as full time. Are you interested in a job?

[His brows raise up in curiosity. Admittedly he doesn't know the man very well but would surely be pleasantly surprised to hear it. Pleasantly surprised and very welcoming, that is.]

[Sadly, he's more interested in the more mundane of the jobs he's offering.]

I am. The security job. I was a soldier as well as a medic. So I can handle any rowdy customers that don't know how to be respectful and patch people up if they need it. I already work for Angela Ziegler, but her clinic is Non-Profit, so I don't get paid. [Not that he minds not getting paid, but he thinks its likely obvious that he just wants work on the side for some sort of income.]

[It’s good to see Hanzo again, even if the man looks as though he’s been running himself ragged, and Zavala can’t help but crack a bemused grin as his friend approaches. There’s that twinge of worry again, likely amplified by the three moons riding high in the sky, but he does his best to not let it seep into his expression. For as concerned as he is for the man, this is supposed to be a professional visit.

Really, he’s almost ready to abandon that formality.]

It has been far too long, friend. I wouldn’t have let anything delay this.

[That sounds a little bit too eager, he needs to remember humility. Traveler be damned, though, even if he’s not the most comfortable in this sort of environment it’s easier to deal with when there’s a familiar face about.]

I told you, I would not leave you without assistance.

Ah, a security job. It seems those will be easier to fill than others. And a medic would be very useful to have on site...

[He doesn't have to think too hard about it to know he wants the man to come in for an interview.]

Whenever you have time, come by and I can show you around to see if you are still interested. We can handle paperwork and other things. If Dr. Ziegler finds you suitable, then I doubt I will have any issues.

I'm only interested in security; my name is Levi. And I'd appreciate the directions. I'm not good with these... things.

( There's a gesture forward, and a soft voice supplies "it's a 'smart device' for life management, sir!" and he just huffs a breath in response. )

When will be convenient for you?

Only security? Understood.

[For the moment he is okay with that, but hopefully Levi won't take poorly to the possibility that Hanzo may try to convince him to reconsider that decision.]

Truthfully, Level 3 is the most difficult to navigate. Maybe I can meet you somewhere and I can walk you down when I have a moment.

[He can't speak for the future but for the moment his schedule is clear.]

Any time. I would prefer the afternoon, though. Afterward, perhaps I can help you with that thing giving you trouble.

[Hanzo seems to pick up on that. Zavala expression gives away a good amount of what he's feeling. Pleased to see him but behind it there's something else. The archer decides to ignore formality and goes in close the distance between them with an embrace.]

It feels like it has been...ages. [The pause is caused by the modest amount of chroma generated from the act of hugging, but it's enough for Hanzo to realize just how far he had been pushing himself these past few weeks.]

And you were true to your word. I knew you would be. [Hanzo offers a smile as he pulls away following a couple appreciative pats to Zavala's back.] You look so stiff. It must be your first time in a pleasure house. [Apparently he now has the chroma to crack jokes.]

Let me show you around. I am sure your imagination is worse than the reality.

( Sorry, Hanzo. Feel free to convince him otherwise though; it will take some doing and a few of his own encounters in this place to realize there's more to it than a monetary exchange, but he's still relatively new and barely cognizant of the nature of moonlacing. But he gives further direction on the location and offers a meet, and, well. Far be it from him to keep someone waiting because he ends up lost, as much as he hates imposing in the same breath. It gets an affirmative, small sound before he officially answers. )

If that isn't too out of the way, I'd appreciate it. Just tell me where to meet you and when. I've got nothing else to do in this place and can start as soon as you need me. The afternoon is fine. ( It's practically afternoon now, so, obviously good for them both that they're present and have time to discuss it. ) As for this thing, there wasn't anything like it where I came from, is all.

( Not that he'll turn down the help, either. They hadn't even had rudimentary telephones. Everything was done by messenger and letters. )

[The occupation of both of Zenyatta's hands does not prevent him from reaching for Hanzo with a third as he enters, cupping his cheek with a ghostly hardlight hand for a few moments to savour smooth skin and silky beard, his thumb skirting the fullness of his lower lip.]

It is so good to see you.

[- dearheart, he almost adds. But there is still part of him that dare not risk overfamiliarity, even if it feels to him like the most natural thing in the world.]

Here.

[Moving ahead, he places the pot down in the kitchen and removes the lid to a fragrant puff of steam.]

I have not had a chance to seek a second opinion, given the ingredients I had to substitute, but I am fairly confident in its quality.

There must be a lot of people that have been trained in various methods of combat that are looking for a job. [He'd hope that the fact that he is also a medic might edge him in for the spot if spots are few.]

Just let me know when you'd like to do it. And if I'm to function as a medic onsite as well, there will need to be some type of medical supplies located there. Nothing expensive or anything. [It just needs to be in a place that he can readily reach should he need to get them, since carrying them around while he worked wouldn't do.]

[Hanzo nods. The response to that position has been overwhelming. None of the other had been trained medics though, so this man does already have the advantage.]

I suppose we can upgrade the first aid kit that we have to include a few more things. The sooner you can come in the better. Are you free tomorrow?

[Honestly, even if he was denied the job, his medical services would still be on the table. He could never bring himself to say no to a person in need of medical attention.]

I can barring any sort of emergency. [Which doesn't seem unlikely in this place.]

What time is good for you?

Excellent.

[The interest in security positions was great, so he may end up bringing the man on as an on-call medic entirely, but they can discuss that at a later time.]

Any time in the afternoon. I will be here.

[Since it seems they're both in possession of free time, Hanzo gives the address and landmarks of a place that is easy enough to get to so he can meet Levi there and walk with him to Flux. It's clear he is in need of employment so there's no use in delaying the meeting.]

Meet me in 10 minutes.

[Hanzo arrives at the place a couple minutes early, just in case. He waits on the corner, arms folded over his chest in front of him as he stands out in the open. The archer stands out with his white mane of hair, wolf ears peeking out but easy to miss--his tail not so much.]

[yakiniku]

[Hanzo opens his mouth but shuts it immediately when Zenyatta's extra "hand" catches his face in it. He simply sighs in defeat, pressing his face against the attention. Whether or not the monk is able to feel anything against the hardlight projections is unknown to him, but he can certainly feel and appreciate the contact.]

You as well.

[It's always a pleasure to see Zenyatta. Like a glimpse of sunlight on a rainy day.]

It smells delicious. You really should not have. [Not only is he capable of cooking for himself, but he hates the idea that he's made himself a burden to the monk, even if he'd never say so himself.] But, still, thank you. I have not had the energy to do much cooking myself.

[tekhartha]

[These brief moments of intimacy come to Zenyatta as if he were diving for pearls; he touches Hanzo with his fingertips and it is worth the threat of the ocean weighing down on him. He could put his arms around him, all of them, real and unreal, as if he might come apart without them.

He misses it, he knows, when they are apart.]

Nonsense. I enjoyed making it. [For a moment his voice is cautious, perhaps a touch embarrassed, though he cannot allow the feeling to linger for long.] It pleases me to think that you are being taken care of.

[Because he certainly cannot trust Hanzo to take care of himself when he has his mind set on something. He pauses.]

Your tenacity can be self-destructive.

[yakiniku]

[If Zenyatta insists he supposes he could be more grateful for the effort put into something like this.]

Ah, so your kindness is selfish, then? [He teases. Of course the monk wouldn't go out of his way to do something like this for selfish reasons, but the absurdity of the accusation is what makes it particularly amusing to him. But Hanzo's sense of humor is peculiar at times.]

I cannot argue with that. [It had gotten so bad that his joints had began to stiffen up like they were crystalizing from the inside, but at the moment he's not visibly showing any symptoms outside of his fatigue.] Do you mind if I eat now? This seems like the sort of thing to taste better hot.

[Peculiar at times, perhaps, but Zenyatta chuckles regardless, soft and approbative as he finally permits himself to relax entirely into Hanzo's presence. When was, he wonders, the last time he felt so distinctly aware of himself in another's company? The earliest days spent with Genji, maybe, or...]

Utterly selfish. How else shall I foist my presence upon you when you are too exhausted to properly receive it?

[Beneath the good-humour, though, he scarcely needs to be invited at all to Hanzo's side; within moments he's settled next to him, chin resting daintily on the heel of one palm.]

Should I remind you to chew?

[Hanzo feels relief in the fact that Zenyatta is so unbothered by his sense of humor that he returns jest just as easily.]

How inappropriate for a monk to behave in such ways. Perhaps you have spent so much time with me that you have lost your ability to be selfless. [He allows himself to laugh softly, nudging Zenyatta playfully prior to making quick work of sitting at the nearby table to eat. He's thankful for the kindness and the company. Hopefully it's covered by the itadakimasu and instant shoveling of food into his mouth.]

This is delicious. [He speaks from behind his hand because he's a firm enough believer in manners to not want to speak to the Shambali with a full mouth. He's eating like he hasn't in days, and maybe that might be true.]

[tekhartha]

Ah, yes. Your terrible influence must be the cause of it all.

[Spoken as if watching Hanzo eat does not fill his spirit with an immense quiet, as if nothing in the world could be quite so satisfying as keeping him strong- or, indeed, if he examines his own feelings with perfect honesty, earning his approval.]

I am glad to hear it. It has been quite some time since I last cooked it.

[And here is where he would normally falter, Zenyatta knows, and shift the subject sideways, because the most natural progression for him is to the sensitive matter of Genji: his pain, his growth, his reincarnation.

But they cannot hide forever.]

Not since Genji and I still travelled together, I believe. He was still acclimatising to his tastebuds at the time- I had to triple most of the spices for him. Needless to say, it did make sharing our meals with strangers somewhat difficult...

Understood.

( The video feed clicks off right after and he studies the map for a long few moments, asks the girl for a direction to head off in, and pays for his things before leaving. It doesn't take him long to follow the arrow on the projected map to the pin mark, even without anyone's directions, once he realizes it points in whatever direction he's facing. Then he just has to adjust his course as needed and follow the correct roads.

Hanzo isn't left waiting long, by the time Levi arrives. Maybe a minute in total, having made good time and also arriving a touch early out of habit. He recognizes the main from the video and hails him with a raised hand, because. Well. He knows he's fucking short, okay?

By some blessing (or lack thereof), Levi's displaying none of his Sanguis traits save slightly sharper canines and a dogged sort of warmth to his grey eyes that is usually not present; no ears, no tail, no claws. Just some solid little man in clean and pressed clothes, leaving off his 3DMG and uniform jacket in favor of one he'd nicked from a street stall of used goods in a slightly-faded black, over his white denim and button-down. The point is that he's clean and put-together. )

( It's strange to introduce himself with a last name after living his whole life without, but. He had to get used to it eventually. He'll hold a hand out to the other man to shake. )

Unfortunately I am unsure how good I might be at keeping a distance, so entertaining that solution is pointless.

[He smiles briefly, taking another healthy bite of food. It doesn't help with how low on chroma he is, but it does clearly satisfy his hunger as he eats. Naturally improved by the fact that it's delicious.

And then Zenyatta mentions his brother and his mood seems to calm dramatically as he listens. While he knows that the monk helped him through that time of his life, he's never gotten the chance to hear anything specifically about it. Angela had also been wary of bringing any of it up.]

I see. [He slows down with eating, but can't figure out what he wants to say. Instead he remains silent, equally hoping Zenyatta might tell him more and stop talking because hearing about it hurts as well. Though it's nothing like the pain Genji must have gone through, he can handle it.]

[Hanzo's response is cautiously neutral, but the fact that he responds at all is more than Zenyatta could ever ask of him. The omnic pauses as he lapses into silence, trying to gauge the atmosphere- the tension in his brow, the way he seems to wilt like new blossoms in a downpour- before he decides to continue. Hanzo lives with Genji now, and even if they were not their lives here are so much more intimately intwined than they were in their own world; they share friends, lovers, lives...

Zenyatta hums softly.]

It is unfortunate that he could not teach me many of your childhood recipes. I had wanted to help him feel more at home [I have no home, he'd told him once, and the look in his eyes had felt like the depths of winter] but my attempts to replicate them based on his descriptions alone were not overly successful.

[brightly] I suppose it would help if I could eat my own creations. Perhaps you could assist me, in the future?

[Hanzo relaxes and continues to take more moderate bites of food while he listens to the monk speak. It's not until he mentions recipes that he wonders how it is that Zenyatta manages to prepare delicious food when he's not able to taste or eat it himself. He hums, swallowing what was in his mouth before responding.]

I can show you what little I know about cooking. [He's being modest here. It's weird to brag about your cooking skills when the thing you've trained your life for is fighting.]
