[video] July 16th: Employment Opportunities [cw: sex work/prostitution]
[Hanzo is positioned in the same way in front of the camera as he was the last time he had to make a message like this, but this time his hair is overgrown and white, but he has the wild locks pushed over one shoulder making it seem just a bit neater.]
Hello again. This is Hanzo Shimada.
Last month I asked if there would be any interest in a brothel catering to Moonblessed, and while there were a lot of people who did not understand or did not approve of the concept, there were also those who did show interest. Some who were not interested also voiced approval for the idea.
So on the first day of this month's triple moon cycle, I would like to announce the opening of Flux. We are located on Level 3.
We have job openings for paid moonlacing partners as well as security personnel. Please let me know if you are interested, and I will provide more information to you. Otherwise if you have questions, I have time to answer them.
Thank you.
[Before ending the video, he leaves his desk to go to the outside of the building for a good shot of the entrance should anyone prefer speaking with him in person instead.]

[For the moment he is okay with that, but hopefully Levi won't take poorly to the possibility that Hanzo may try to convince him to reconsider that decision.]
Truthfully, Level 3 is the most difficult to navigate. Maybe I can meet you somewhere and I can walk you down when I have a moment.
[He can't speak for the future but for the moment his schedule is clear.]
Any time. I would prefer the afternoon, though. Afterward, perhaps I can help you with that thing giving you trouble.

If that isn't too out of the way, I'd appreciate it. Just tell me where to meet you and when. I've got nothing else to do in this place and can start as soon as you need me. The afternoon is fine. ( It's practically afternoon now, so, obviously good for them both that they're present and have time to discuss it. ) As for this thing, there wasn't anything like it where I came from, is all.
( Not that he'll turn down the help, either. They hadn't even had rudimentary telephones. Everything was done by messenger and letters. )
video -> action
Meet me in 10 minutes.
[Hanzo arrives at the place a couple minutes early, just in case. He waits on the corner, arms folded over his chest in front of him as he stands out in the open. The archer stands out with his white mane of hair, wolf ears peeking out but easy to miss--his tail not so much.]

( The video feed clicks off right after and he studies the map for a long few moments, asks the girl for a direction to head off in, and pays for his things before leaving. It doesn't take him long to follow the arrow on the projected map to the pin mark, even without anyone's directions, once he realizes it points in whatever direction he's facing. Then he just has to adjust his course as needed and follow the correct roads.
Hanzo isn't left waiting long, by the time Levi arrives. Maybe a minute in total, having made good time and also arriving a touch early out of habit. He recognizes the main from the video and hails him with a raised hand, because. Well. He knows he's fucking short, okay?
By some blessing (or lack thereof), Levi's displaying none of his Sanguis traits save slightly sharper canines and a dogged sort of warmth to his grey eyes that is usually not present; no ears, no tail, no claws. Just some solid little man in clean and pressed clothes, leaving off his 3DMG and uniform jacket in favor of one he'd nicked from a street stall of used goods in a slightly-faded black, over his white denim and button-down. The point is that he's clean and put-together. )
Levi Ackerman.
( It's strange to introduce himself with a last name after living his whole life without, but. He had to get used to it eventually. He'll hold a hand out to the other man to shake. )
no subject
Before he can suggest they walk and talk on the way he's given a name and a hand. If he seems at all hesitant it's simply because of the extra white hair he has growing on his arms and knuckles when he reaches out to shake. It's not noticeable from far away and in the grand scheme of things isn't much but it's one of the things he's trying to get used to.]
Hanzo Shimada.
[He hangs on to Levi's hand a bit longer so that when he starts walking in the direction of his new business he pulls the man along.] This way. [The hand shaking Levi's withdraws, but another settles at the small of his back just briefly.]
You are also Sanguis-blessed? I can smell it. Sorry. [It's an invasive trait to have, but it's so strong when it's that time, and he can't really avoid it since he has to breathe.]
no subject
Hanzo, then. ( Not really one for formalities. ) I'm also...? Right, the animal traits.
( Was his sense of smell keener as well...? He supposes it is. He's even more curt than usual with the amount of times he's bitten his tongue or bottom lip already. ) Is that what this is?
( He's thumbing at his upper lip to bare a fang, not seeing too bothered either way, before he's glancing over the man beside him again. )
no subject
Sure. Hanzo is fine.
Yes. They are difficult to get used to, do more harm than good, but at the very least everyone goes through them at some point. [It's the only thing that makes any of this fair. He's seen others with worse transformations, and even heard stories of those who had gone without almost entirely, but for the most part moonblessed tended to have similar cycles each month.]
How have you been managing with it so far?
no subject
What... the fuck is that??? Money??? Yeah, he looks a little baffled. )
I'm not really one for commiseration; knowing that everyone else is in the same boat doesn't make it any better. ( It just means it sucks for everyone. He'd rather it not suck at all. Call him sentimental; he fought to save humanity for years on end, can you blame him for having better hopes for others? ) So all that white hair and ears— that's not how you always look?
I've been managing. I haven't sprouted anything like that, if that's what you're asking. Noticed my nose is a bit sharper and I'm easier to irritate.
( But that isn't necessarily out of the ordinary; a bad day is a bad day, and he's a crabby person as a baseline, sometimes. It didn't strike him as odd. )

Hanzo sees the look on Levi's face and forces himself not to smirk until he looks away. Levi must have been relatively new to this. He recalls being in a similar situation himself not so long ago.]
No, it does not really change things, but it gives the illusion that it is slightly less unfair. To me, anyway.
Sometimes my hair does not change color and does not grow. Once I became a dragon-man rather than a wolf-man. I have never not changed, though. I just know that it is also possible to not change for consecutive months.
[Easier to irritate? Hanzo cocks his head to the side when he looks over to Levi again. Yes. It hadn't hit him before because Levi had been polite enough, but he can see that the guy is very...particular? And that could definitely mean he is easily irritated by things around him.]
Perhaps your changes are all internal, then. Just be careful to avoid conflict. It will be hard but there are many moonblessed out there with strong abilities that are also feeling highly irritable at that time. I would not want you getting hurt.
no subject
In short, he's skittish. Like some wild dog on the streets. )
And that's just... normal, for you? Always? ( Even before he ended up here? But Levi has manners where they're due, knows when to hold his posture. He never really slouches and he never bites back his vocabulary, but he can heel well enough. "Particular" is a good way to put it. ) And yeah, already figured that much out. Or I wouldn't have responded to an offer for security. You don't have to worry about me getting hurt, though.
I fight "giants" back home.
no subject
Nothing here is normal, and I would not recommend getting used to it or growing complacent. It just so happens that there is no alternative at present to go back to where we all came from. [At the mention of fighting giants Hanzo has to double take again. He doesn't know how to express his surprise at that news without coming off as rude or insulting. Levi does not look, at first glance anyway, the type to fight anything much less giants.]
What do you mean by that? Giants? Very tall humans?
