This is taking some getting used to, but I think I get the gist of this now. This was originally a Halloween costume, but it's grown on me. Happy to be able to recreate it. Fashion in this city is surprisingly to my taste. #what #are #hashtags?

oh, good choice! i'm familiar with wells' work! classic & evocative - moreau was probably my favourite of his though admittedly a touch gruesome for my usual tastes

I don't recall finishing Moreau, embarrassingly enough. Like you said, somewhat gruesome.
I tend to prefer memoirs but Invisible Man was recommended to me. It was worth the read.

Indeed. It wasn't entirely my idea, but it was too fitting to ignore.
I did originally have glasses but they've been hard to find here.
I'm not entirely invested in completely recreating it at the moment though.
