The nearest we have to anything like this back home are the link shells. Still, I'm all for anything that makes communication easier, especially when it comes with the bonus of such spectacular views.

really? i guess i'm so focused on how different things are here from where i come from that i haven't even thought about how strange this place must be to everybody else.

for some of us more than others, it seems. You and I for example. We come from worlds where such things are uncommon or unheard of but i have seen others who seem more at home with all of this.

it's a wondrous thing. i'd no idea there were so many stars that so many different types of people called home.

i'm still having trouble wrapping my head around all of this. this is kind of embarrassing, but where i'm from, we aren't even sure how big our own world is. i've heard stories about people who've traveled to distant lands, but there's just so much that we haven't explored.

and now, i find out that there's ten thousands, maybe even millions of worlds out there. i can't wait to keep meeting people from all of them!

i can honestly say i've never heard that before.

if it makes you feel any better, that just means you can keep it short. or let it all grow out until you have a bushy forest on your face. i don't think anyone's pubes are that long.
