She's perched on the edge of a bed in a room with a growing collection of potted plants, her long hair pinned back in a messy bun.

She waves! And smiles.]

This network sure is lively! I didn't expect to see so much open discussion... [Especially concerning the topics, is the implication here, but it's said so cheerfully it's hard to tell if she's being insulting or not.] but that's good, isn't it? It's nice to see so many people getting along, even if they're from different places. It encouraged me to use it too.

For those of you I haven't met, my name is Aerith. For those of you I have, thank you if you helped me, and I hope you're all settling in alright. It's been a big adjustment for me, but I think I'm finding my way around things. It's hard to say! I guess I won't know until something big happens.

More to the point...I wanted to talk about something. Where I'm from, I used to grow a little garden in a church. I've got something of a green thumb, you see. [:)] I've been doing work into finding out what grows here locally, and I was thinking of expanding some. A community garden...that'd be nice, wouldn't it? I've never grown anything with other people. I suppose I'm a little shy about it. [:))] And as I'm learning, it would take Chroma...

But new places are all about expanding your horizons, right? Let's work together. If you've never planted anything before, once I've got everything set up, I can show you how.

So!

What sort of plants would you all like to see? Something edible? Floral? Anything from home? [She fistpumps.] I can try my best to grow it!

Oh, and —

Can anyone tell me more about the plant life here? I want to learn as much as I can.

I grew up just fine
Anyway I eat a lot of protein to make up for it

[ That's how that works right? And yeah, maybe she was just busy, but that sure was a pause before she answered... ]

Was the church blessed by the gods or something?
You don't have to answer if you don't feel like it

That's not how it works! You're missing vital nutrients...you'll feel it later on.

[unseen, she frowns in thought.]

Not exactly, no.
But i felt as though it had a connection to the Planet.

Seriously? Not you too...

[ HIS DIET IS FINE DON'T MOM HIM. He's got more than enough of that in his life already. ]

Isn't everywhere on the plant kind of connected to the planet?

[ He doesn't get it. ]

Me too! I'm an advocate of eating fruits and vegetables. My mom never let me leave the table if I didn't finish mine.

And... sort of. It's hard to explain. Other places are more closely connected, to me. It's a feeling... or a kind of understanding. I've never been able to describe it well to anyone else, I'm sorry.

[mcring]

My mom's a little more lenient. I just get gross green stuff hidden in other perfectly good food

[ Should he be calling Ignis his mom in a joke like that? It'll just be confusing later if she ever brings up his mom again... Oh well. Planning ahead is for losers. ]

And I haven't found a place like that just yet. This world is different, but... I think my garden will be a good start. I've never shared a garden with anyone before, so I'm excited to see what will happen.

Having somebody help you will only make it better this time I bet
Or a lot of people, it sounds like.

So how are you going to find this place?
Just wander around until the feeling strikes you?

I hope so. It's hard to be so far from home, for so many people. Anything I can do to alleviate that, then I'm happy to do it.
