[Oh look, for once Pucci's putting his face to a post on the network! ...As username: viadolorosa still, but that's how it is sometimes. There's a few seconds of him trying to get a good angle on bracelet cam, before he smiles warmly and offers everyone a little wave.]

Hello. If we haven't met, I'm Father Pucci, and...I think that I can be of use to at least some of you. I've been under the impression that, even after some months here, adaptation to our need for chroma generation and the methods the moons drive us to use can still make people feel...Uncomfortable, I suppose. Amongst other things. And generally being in a new place with such differing morality can be hard.

So, what I'm offering is simple! We all have our social networks for the tough times, and services to assist with that besides. But if you just want to talk to someone, perhaps I can help you come to terms with this new place. Or simply listen if you have anything on your mind. I'm experienced with listening to people, as well as practicing confidentiality, for what that might be worth.

I'm sure you'll catch me around, if you're not willing to try and organise some sort of meeting at the moment. I hope that we can talk soon!

You say this like being kept company by attractive and charming people isn't its own reward! Really, now. I'm easily satisfied by the company of my fellow lifeforms.

I'd say that the cross on my chest should've clued you in, but I take it that means nothing, so you're correct in your assumption! I'm a priest, Roman Catholic for what that might be worth, and although I doubt I need to offer full confession to anyone here, I thought that...It might help people's burdens if they had someone to talk to who simply couldn't go tattling on them.

But-- I like to think that I'm a man of more modern cloth, too. A little less fire and brimstone, a little more love and acceptance for thy neighbour.

what are you some kinda religious counselor?

...I'd be lying if I said the recent subjects on this network haven't been somewhat uncomfortable for me. I'm not Christian, myself, but I am from a far more reserved society than what I've observed here.

It's a lot to adjust to, I know. I'd like to think that I adapt well no matter the circumstances, but...Not everyone I've met feels the same way, and that's alright. I'm offering my ear for both the new or struggling, as well as those who perhaps adapt too well and might have some moral quandary over it in the future.

I take it that you're from some version of Earth, however! Is it painfully mundane like mine is? Is Rihanna a big thing? [He's using Rihanna as a yardstick of time periods, bless.]

I hope that would be the implication, though with less 'forcing religion down your throat' and more actual support and listening. Why bother when I doubt most here would even know what religion I'd be trying to preach, after all?

[There's an audible little 'oh!' when Fish reveals themselves, but there's nothing negative about it. In the grand scheme of things, is a purple merperson really that strange? Certainly not, and especially when they're pleasant to talk to and look at.]

That does explain it, yes. I come from a rather bland and boring Earth, where humans are about all there is for sentience; I'd remember if I'd met anyone as striking as you, certainly. [We're not going into the vampires today, that just gets complex...That, and there'd only been one of note in his experience, anyway.] It sounds as though priests are a universal constant, though; I'll go with feeling relieved on that front.

Some of my colleagues...Read our religious texts differently to me, and would have a harder hand in differentiating the good from the bad, however; I just want to reassure people that I'm not so harsh a man that I'll lecture them for not fitting into my world view. Does that clarify any?

Though it sounds more like you're distressed about the mundane part than the whole 'tiger-bullet-wound-sexual-escapades' part. Is it really so strange to think that you'd find a woman who would love you enough to marry you?

[ there’s so much to the apology. it isn’t at odds with the person dextera encountered, but he knows there’s more to it. there’s something lurking underneath pucci that he seems quite eager not to show to anyone, and dextera imagines he shouldn’t let this get out.

That's nice to have a priest around. Though I haven't seen a church so far...I guess you're more a traveling one, huh?

You say that like I’m not one of the worst offenders, but I’m flattered that you think I’d be able to provide you with some respite when you need it.
