Greetings. I can't say I have formally addressed or utilized the network properly before, but the time has come where it's become necessary I do so.

My name is Naoto and I'm currently working on a project another individual and myself have concocted a few months ago. It's finally reached a point where I must request for several volunteers. In this stage, we're seeking individuals who have been Moonblessed by Iris.

Ah, that's understandable. Most people have an easier time communicating when they're not face-to-face.

I'm doing that now. [He probably gets a small alert on his bracelet once that information does arrive.] You needn't bring anything else. The sooner you can arrive, the better. I'm typically available in the late afternoon and evening hours. I just request you come by before the Iris cycle starts.

[ Hal has been making an extra-strenuous effort to clean up before heading out. It's been hard shaking himself out of the ambient head fog, but the roommate helps, and having responsibilities in the name of Science (?) does as well. Given how vague the request had been, he assumes this is a Moonblessed not wanting nosy Prismals and Lunatians to come poking around.

He awkwardly fidgets with his Dusklight bracelet before he knocks, then pushes his glasses up his nose. ]

[Dinner preparations are underway, but Naoto is getting a few things ready. After all, no reason to carry them out in the open; she needed to put them into boxes and label them. A knock at the door has her up and approaching.]

[There's a soft click before the door opens and she stares.]

You must be one of the volunteers I asked for earlier.

Hi! I'm Hal, yeah. What... did you need from me? I don't have my Iris parts yet, if you were hoping for those.

[She shakes her head.]

It's less parts I need and more the affects Iris feels. The reason we began working on this project is due to certain personal devices not being able to hold up when this problem is in full force.

Does this have to do with the electrical magic?

... No, it has to do with Heat.

[ This is ABSOLUTELY not the conversation he wanted to have. It's gross and shameful and embarrassing enough to deal with it. ]

Y-yes? What about it? Is the animal term not self-explanatory?

[He seems to be missing the objective.]

It is. I have made a few sleeves for this purpose and need sufficient feedback so we can make any necessary adjustments in order to offset those symptoms. Every Iris-blessed is different, but Prismal toys haven't proven efficient enough.

[ He's immediately deeply uncomfortable. ]

Take care of your Heat and inform me on how the product performed; if it managed to help or not and where any changes could be made. Not here of course, but in your own home. If you don't feel up for this, I understand.

That's right. And yes, they're safe. There's been care taken into researching the toys available here in order to make the current prototype.

Anyway, the idea behind the product is making a toy that actually manages to satisfy the Iris-blessed should someone else be unavailable during their cycle or they're not sure about such intimate engagements. Prismals will certainly push for it though...

[ He really wants to say no because of how uncomfortable this all is, and yet... this is for a good cause. That, and he lives with someone now he doesn't want to bother with his hunger. If anything goes wrong, it'll be okay. ]

If the thought of doing this makes you uncomfortable, don't feel like you need to force yourself into this.

[She kind of knows what it's like... she only really started doing any of this stuff here.]

N-no, it's really valuable! I -- I try to offer myself to those who, ah, need... lacing, but I understand plenty don't like it. And there's young folks like yourself who -- who really shouldn't pushed and manipulated into things like that. So I'll do it, if it means giving some relief to people who didn't choose for this to happen to them.

[... Does she still look that young? It's the height; it has to be the height. She sighs.]

[ Hal stays completely still, practically paralyzed by this and his decision. He'll be dutiful, because it's helping in a way he can, but just... yeesh. ]

[Stepping inside, Naoto returns momentarily with a rather inconspicuous box. It doesn't have any writing on it, but a lavender-hued mark.]

Here it is. We've been discussing looking more into Chromawear in order to implement the same ability to change forms, but for now, it's fairly standard though the length, curve, and girth can change. It does vibrate and it does warm; it can feel 'real', but that can be turned off. Basic instructions are included. It will require some Chroma for those features to work, but simple Moonlacing through the minimal touches later will recover any losses.

Anyway, use it during your cycle when that particular Blessing goes into affect and when you can, send me a report of how it went. Be as general as you want, but keep in mind we do want to know if it helped or if you have any recommendations towards improving it. Any questions?
