Text: Moonblessings or Curses

I've been here for two months now. Ten moon cycles, if you count each individual cycle, and then the triple moon as its own cycle. My friends have gotten animal parts, new abilities, personality changes...I've seen a little of everything. But I haven't had any changes at all, myself.

I know that not every cycle is the same, and that it's sometimes stronger or weaker for some reason, but I don't know anyone who's never had anything happen.

So, I guess that's my question: is there anyone else out there who still hasn't figured out what their moonblessing is because they haven't changed? Or should I start getting worried?

Moons and shit are typically my brother's thing, but I imagine it just has something to do with how people's bodies react to the cycles here. Everyone has their own pace since everyone is different.

Maybe you're just a late bloomer.

I guess. I just know some people have suddenly vanished, even though they could still make chroma too, and I don't have enough information to know if this is anything like that.

I don't really do the whole Chroma thing and I am still here. It only makes everything more puzzling to me.

Good to be skeptical though, kid. I feel like there's some method to all of this madness myself.

I don't blame you. It's kind of...personal. I mean, it's necessary, and I don't want my friends to get hurt because they didn't moonlace enough, but...still.

There has to be some kind of method. If it were entirely random, there wouldn't be over a dozen people I know here. And there has to be a pattern to the moonblessings, too. I just...haven't figured it out.

That's right. I personally think we're all brought here on purpose to provide Chroma for them.
Which makes it even more puzzling for those who don't provide Chroma and why we're still here.

I wonder if any disciplinary action will fall on us for not being lovey-dovey.

I'm really not sure. I mean, they can't force us to do more than the bare minimum to survive. I make sure I have enough chroma for my quirk to be useful if I need to fight, and to make sure that my friends don't die, but...

I don't know, there's just too much we don't know yet. I don't like being in the dark about this, too.

Do you really think they'd try to force us?

I think anyone is willing to do anything if they're desperate enough. It's not something I can confirm, but it's something to take into consideration for the future.

We shouldn't rule anything out, I suppose. Even if I don't want to think they'd do something like that, I've heard about other places where they had no problems forcing people into all kinds of things.

I hope it doesn't get that bad here, but...you're right. It's probably a bad idea to rule anything out.

It doesn't surprise me. Different universes handle things in a way we normally wouldn't. It doesn't hurt to be skeptical.

I can't help wondering, though. At least one person who vanished, I know she didn't have a problem with moonlacing. At least, she was always willing to give hugs and hold hands. But she disappeared. If we're here to provide Chroma, why would someone who was doing it willingly vanish? Maybe they don't really have that much control over it.
