How many of you here are immortal? Whether it be by natural means or otherwise. How do you feel about your immortality?

You don't need to tell me how or why you are, I'm simply curious. I myself have lived for 500 years, so I'm looking for kindred spirits, one might say.

Of course if you're not immortal and you know someone who is, I'd be glad to hear that as well. This platform was made to share opinions, correct? I'd enjoy having everyone's different perspectives.

Good, I wasn't sure. My friend Sebastian made it sound quite valuable. It's one of the few modern commodities we simply don't have in my day.

The plague was a bit earlier, but I understand there's quite a bit of appeal to be able to live historic moments like that.
Really, most of them like to write and paint and compose music. But we do have parties and that kind of thing. I have to make sure they actually get out of the house, otherwise some of them would never leave.

Of course. I'm afraid my reputation is that I am, in many ways, a mystery. I made a name for myself while hiding much of my past, so any specifics wouldn't match the tales you're likely to have heard of me.

Though I did get a good laugh of telling others that I was a 500 year old vampire, they all thought I was joking.

I am familiar with a couple of people in similar situations; whether because their legend is not well-known, or because their reputation has given birth to countless rumors that do not match reality.
If you would like to continue to hide your past and what kind of person you are, please do not feel the need to expose yourself to me. I will not pressure you into speaking about something you would rather not.

One is... reincarnated in a manner of speaking. Their soul is transferred to a new body upon death.

The other one is actually physically immortal and as of right now there appears to be no way to kill her.

Well, needless to say "Comte" is not my real name, and I'm certainly not from Saint-Germain. Even still, my reputation precedes me in much of Europe. People enjoy the mystery. And as for myself, I can always claim old age has robbed me of such memories. Whether that is the truth or not matters little.
