it's easier, sure
but for me that feels weird
it's hard to be comfortable when i'm built for surviving in a place shittier than this
like i'm constantly trying to domesticate myself just to talk to other people

It seems to me that the fact you'd even try is a kindness in and of itself. Others should learn to meet you on your own terms, instead of you having to change yourself for them.

besides if people sunk to my level instead there would be blood in the streets
things are easier if i act like a normal person

not the whole world, but where i was that was the kind of life we lived
so it's not like i miss the idiots themselves
just that they've had the same experiences as me so they'd get it

I see. It makes sense. Even for me, this is such a different experience than being home that sometimes I even miss being at war.
