but i think i'd struggle with it if it meant i could see them again. its hard going from having them around to... well, not. im not used to take care of myself like this. to coming home without them there. stuff like that.

i wouldve had to learn eventually, just didn't think id need a crash course in it.
[He's learning on the fly, basically. It wasn't that he's wholly dependent on them, but it was definitely not something he was prepared for. Even if he was in college and living on his own, he'd at least have a way to call them if something came up or he needed help.]
