[video + action] Feels like I'm dreaming, but I'm not sleeping

[ getting some candid shots of what looks like a gelato cart, italy seems to be on the move today and it shows. he's even provided a helpful map that seems to track his movements for anyone that might be tempted to want to come out and get some of this frozen treat themselves ]
Ciao cia~o~
It's been a while hasn't it? I feel like things get so busy busy busy around here, it's so strange because at the same time it's very relaxing!
[ italy laughs, waving into the camera excitedly. it's sanguis again, why is he always filming while in woof mode? who knows! ]
This is Venezia Italia and I have a treat for everyone to enjoy today! I've got a cart set up and so many flavours of gelato to offer~
The selection for today will consist of blueberry, pistachio, black cherry & dark chocolate, red bean, ube, banana strawberry swirl, young coconut, limoncello, hazelnut & vanilla, amaretto! And if you want, I could even serve it in a rose shape just for you prismagrammers out there. So please don't be shy! Come by and enjoy!
If there are any other special requests, I could do my absolute best to try and accommodate you!
So please follow the map and come along! I'll be on the move all day, so do your best to catch up! I look forward to seeing everyone~
And if you want to chat here, that's fine too! Cia~o~!
[OOC NOTE: forgot to mention! feel free to go into action mode in this post too, it seemed unnecessary to make a totally separate log for this ]

Yeah, that seems like something nonno would've done--How long ago did you experience death?
[ here you go, enjoy your samples a plenty. honestly, italy isn't collecting money from everyone, he's big into sharing ]

A little over 3,000 years ago, back when my country was still ruled by Pharaohs. I hear that much has changed since then, and it's not just the food -- though plenty seems to have remained the same, too.

Oh yes, much has indeed changed from those times, though a lot has carried over from those times and a lot of what was learned and taught from your home is still very relevant in many ways~
[ oh look, he's excited, it's not super common for him to run into people from such a time period. leaning in some there's that excitable wag of the fluffy tail ]
It sounds as if you've been around a little while before appearing here though, doesn't it? Has the modern era been difficult to adjust to? Is there anything you miss from your home?

[ Another spoonful of a different flavor -- the hazelnut. It's rich, but not too rich, with a warm texture. He swallows, attempting to buy himself some time of how best to tug at the cart owner's heartstrings without sounding too sappy and compromising his own pride in the process.
Aha. ]
Don't get me wrong, it still exists. But can it really be called home when it's the same town in name only? What about when all the people you knew are long gone and have been for thousands of years?

I'm sorry... that must be difficult... I think for myself it's a little different, I've only been around for a little over two-thousand years, but I've been able to see the progression and changes first-hand.
There are still some places that hold a lot of memories, but so much has changed that it seems only I can see the way it used to be at one point. Memories are the only thing you have to hold onto at that point, but you also have a chance to make some new ones as well.

That's true. [ He's kind of difficult to understand with a mouthful of gelato. It's about as sweet as the man had promised. ] However, one day, you're going to lose those "new" memories as well... it's all part of the vicious cycle of immortality, you could say.
Say, could I get a few scoops of that limoncello? I think that if I have something a little too familiar, I'm just going to dwell on the past too much. The name is Bakura, by the way. A pleasure.
[ Can't be too vulnerable even if he's drumming it up for sympathy. Time to dial it back. ]
