Because the technology of this world was somehow able to give me one. I don't exactly understand all of the logistics of it myself just yet. But I was never able to interact with the mortal world on my own before I came here, so they obviously tampered with my soul even further.

[ And admittedly, Bakura doesn't like that thought one bit. His soul is enough of a mess already without someone that isn't him meddling with it. ]
