Good evening, Lunatia, I am Jinguji Jakurai.
As strange a request as this might be... are there any other doctors or perhaps even nurses on Lunatia? I am aware of a very few that exist on this realm, but perhaps it would be beneficial to have a list of those existing to have a network of us to rely on in tough situations.
I, myself, am a doctor back home in a hospital in Shinjuku. Emergency medicine is probably what I would say I do best. But I also have a clinic for those in need who otherwise would not receive the help. Ah, but enough about me, I am more curious about the other medical professionals that reside here.

My service ended after an attack on my hospital, and the dismissal of the military as a whole.
[Long story there.]
Ah, now that is an interesting discovery, chroma heals. What can't chroma do...would be my question.
A general surgeon, and when I am not working the night shift, I am probably doing some sort of surgery.

I'm sorry to hear your hospital was attacked; I hope everyone was all right. The dismissal of the military, though, that's quite something. Was the war at an end?
( Oh! He didn't know that chroma healed...? Perhaps he's quite new, here. )
And yes, the chroma generated via contact can heal most injuries that I've seen. There was a tournament the other month where many were forced to fight and injured in the underground; just sitting with them and stemming their bleeding helped stabilize them, if you gave them some time. I've defaulted to holding someone's hand or offering massages. People don't often turn down a good shoulder rub, after all, and it's a good deal more contact with a clear purpose.
As for what it can't do, that's quite the question! It seems to help the plant-life and crops grow, and it powers the city of course. But it certainly doesn't fill our stomachs or purify water or the air. It has its limits, as well. :)
I'll be sure to keep you in mind, then, Mr. Jinguji. Have you been working at the local hospitals in your time here?
sorry for the late!! i had a lot going on last week wheeze....
In the end...only one person ended up dead and that was before I really realized what was going on. It was a shame they wouldn't allow me to save him. I could have. Ah, but...I cannot dwell on those things that I cannot change.
[He is So New, that he hasn't learned everything that chroma can do.]
Things like that...well, I do find it quite amazing. Perhaps that is a more non-invasive way to heal patients. Something that may make some of them feel more comfortable. It makes sense...then, why Eichi-kun asked me just to hold him when he wasn't feeling well.
Mostly, though. I have been doing housecalls. I have taken two patients in my care personally upon arrival. I told Megumi-san that I would help her with clinic work when she had a more available space as well. Though...as a person who likes to burn the candles at both ends, I don't see any harm in doing some hospital work as well.
that's all right bud, same here! I backtag forever
Acceptance that we can't always help everyone. We can't beat ourselves up over it as much as we want to. It hinders us from helping others.
And it is quite amazing, isn't it? It doesn't take care of everything, certainly, though I'm sure it likely can if given the time. But it helps with most run of the mill injuries. It is likely why your acquaintance asked that of you, here, yes. I had a non-invasive healing technology I'd developed back home, but I'm afraid to say it doesn't work here very well. The chroma is more efficient, since the nanites are somehow tied to my energy stores instead of producing their own as they originally had. It exhausts me far quicker than anything.
That sounds quite nice! You shouldn't overwork yourself, though. Just putting yourself out there and having a reference list is often plenty. I didn't know miss Megumi wanted to open a clinic as well! You'll be in wonderful hands with her. ♥ If there is ever anything I can assist with, I hope you'll let me know.

Ah, at any point though, Angela-san. If you need an extra hand. I am available. I would never think to limit myself too much. Especially when I know that we could all help each other in the long run.

Mary Poppins. Thankfully medicine doesn't taste as badly as it had two hundred years back.
Humans are quite adaptable, aren't we?
And we survive so much.
I will certainly keep the offer in mind, though I'm afraid (and thankful) to admit the clinic doesn't see much traffic. Likewise, if you're ever in need of a stocked facility or wish to use my lab or workshop, you're more than welcome to come by. There's room for a few big brains under the roof, if little else. 😊
I hope we get to meet soon.
