im going to keep this short
anyone know a software app on here that does actual music making?
i got what i got on my glasses but maybe theres something better here since we got tech from all the fuck over the place
an actual turntable would be fuckin amazing but im not holding my breath i can save up my succubus and or incubus solar panel points for it

ok thanks

no it's not really that either, it's not like a trade skill or something
it's her quirk
or her power i guess since we're the only ones who actually use that word
she can just make things out of her body and stuff?
but i try not to ask her to do it too much, getting expensive stuff for free like that kinda wigs me out

[She says like a hypocrite from her weighted, heated blanket while wearing silver jewelry all provided by her friend's Quirk -]

you've got good taste in classics tho
glad to hear our worlds aren't TOO different in that regard
but if you're getting into synth stuff, why go out and get some software you haven't used before when you can just nab an actual synth?

[While her friend's Quirk is a little more permanent than he's probably thinking, honestly? Jiro's just gonna put that to the side for now.
It's easier to explain this kinda stuff in person anyway, and she's already got the vibe they'll be meeting face to face someday.]

american, huh? alright, texas boy
any interest in *learning* actual synth?

any keyboard worth its salt can do anything a fancy synth can and more, after all
and it's not like they're in short supply around here with the whole retrowave shtick this place has going on

it'd be a good skill to have, for sure
especially since you can work it into a turntable setup real easy, right?
just get yourself a good quality midi keyboard, hook it up to whatever computer hardware you're using, and bam
any sound you want at any note you want at any time you want

i can't say i'm an *expert* with the keyboard, but i know enough to teach
plus i've got one i wouldn't mind lending you while you learn

[She did say she was mostly a guitarist, after all. Not that that's all she knows.
But that's followed by a short pause before she tacks on another thought at the end, as if she'd almost forgotten -]

you can call me jiro, by the way.

i mean if your stuff's got all the right hookups it should??
unless you come from someplace that doesn't use USBs or audio jacks, i guess
i HOPE not tho. a place like that honestly sounds like a nightmare.

and i mean it's fine, i don't mind lending stuff out as long as it's not my bass
plus if i end up needing a second keyboard i can just ask my friend to make one
she's my keyboardist anyway, she'd probably be able to pop one out without too much difficulty

good to meet you, strider.
