001: video [backdated to late 4/6]

[the video feed wobbles a bit, giving sideways and upside down glimpses of a room that is clearly still in the process of being made into a place someone really lives in--a mess of makeup on an end table, a shopping bag with what looks like it might be clothing waiting to be hung up on a chair--before settling on Mandy's face. She's propped up on her stomach, presumably on her bed, and while the camera isn't levelled low enough to see what she's actually wearing the glimpse of cleavage implies it's probably tight.

What the camera is showing very clearly is her kohl-lined eyes now yellow-green instead of blue, tufted black-and-yellow ears sticking out from under her hair, and what might be fangs shining from between her bright red lips. There's also the occasional movement in the background hinting at what might be a swishing tail]

Well. This is certainly making up for the lack of costume parties I've been to recently. But I do find myself with a bit of a dilemma in that I want to go out on the prowl, so to speak, but I'm also obscenely ravenous. Would any of you lovely creatures be interested in helping me out with one or both of these pesky little problems?

[Well, that's certainly new indeed. Zavala finds it's better to stick to voice in his reply, if only to try to preserve some of Mandy's modesty. Or because he finds himself slightly flustered at her attire.]

If you are in need of food, I have saved a good portion of my Chroma thusfar and would be perfectly amicable in helping you stock your kitchen if need be.

[even without the video, it's very clear that Mandy finds his response rather amusingly endearing. She likes flustering people, but right now it's even more fun tan usual]

Really? Oh, that would be delightful. I'm usually much more motivated, but it seems like I'd probably waste more energy going out to take care of it myself.

Yes, well. It would also be beneficial to have your input on what you need to, ah, continue to keep your energy up. If it isn’t too strenuous I would ask that you accompany me to wherever need be, that way we can be sure that we’re purchasing the correct items.

[A very roundabout way to say ‘you’re going to have to get up and come with’, but an effective one nonetheless.]

Well, I suppose. At least I'll be in more than decent company, although I can't promise I'll be entirely decent myself. I had to get a little creative with my wardrobe to accommodate this tail.

Wait, certainly there must be accommodation for these sort of, uh, changes that allow one to keep their basic dignity!

Dignity has never been my highest concern, but fashion has. Luckily it didn't take too much to alter a couple skirts so they'll still be usable after this business is over. Perhaps they'll look even better.

Public decency is also something to consider! Far be it from me to judge one’s manner of clothing, but- but do you not have some sort of embarrassment wearing something like that? I’m genuinely curious.

[Everyone wears armor where he’s from, the idea of wearing less is honestly a foreign concept.]

Hmm, not especially, no. But then again, I often wore things that, barring the tail aspect, were as if not more revealing back home. And that was sort of for work, in a sense. And I've never been all that interested in adhering to other people's definition of 'decent', as it tends to be synonymous with 'boring and small minded' where I'm from.

But…if something were to happen, would not it make more sense to be prepared for a possible battle? I will admit, I am far more used to seeing furs and heavy cloth on civilians where I am from. I don’t- I do not believe I have seen anyone in such garb as yours in anything but old documents.

Mm, well, under other circumstances perhaps, but I do seem to have literal claws at the moment that I might actually be able to scratch someone's eyes out with.

Well, it's quite possible where I came from is somewhere in your past, from what I'm starting to gather from other people around here. Which is a bit funny, since I'm used to my clothing being the height of popular fashion.
