[ And there's a doorbell ringing a while later, Marie holding a small bag with the painkillers and waving pleasantly at Osomatsu when they're face to face. ]

Bonjour, dear Osomatsu! The nurse has arrived!

[ Cloud joked about her being one... and it kind of stuck with her. ]

[Osomatsu's honestly been trying to calm down. instead of worrying about his antlers, now he's worried about Marie coming to his apartment and massaging his head! aaaaa

she's so cute. seriously. when he answers the door and sees her, it gives him warm fuzzy feelings all over]

H-hey! Thanks for coming...

[he steps aside to let her in. he doesn't look too different, aside from the small antlers. he's also growing out longer ears, and probably a tail? yeah, a tail is growing, and he's got brown and red freckles all over. he certainly looks a lot different this Iris cycle than the last one, but at least he's not freaking out about it]

[ Upon a closer look, Marie's hair looks like its strands have... a life of their own, having become tentacles as it usually happens in her own Iris transformation. However, she looks no different otherwise, smiling friendly at Osomatsu when he lets her in.

She takes note of his appearance, watching those antlers closely, then motioning towards the couch. ]

Why don't we take care of your headache right away? The sooner, the better.

[he stares at the tentacle hair before she speaks]

O-oh, yeah! Come on in.

[he heads over to the couch]

[ Before they get to sit down, she suddenly stops and holds her free hand up. ]

Oh, right! Do you have water with you? The medicine i brought with me works like an aspirin, so water is necessary.

I can get it.

[he changes direction, now moving to the kitchen to get a glass. should have anticipated that, but his head hurts so he's not thinking clearly.

he returns to her shortly with his glass]

[ She patiently waits, sitting on the couch. It might have been best to go get the water herself, since Osomatsu looked a bit sick indeed, but she thinks no longer of it when she watches the boy return without incidents. Marie opens the medicine package, takes one soluble tablet out, and drops it into the glass, watching it fizzle and melt inside the water. ]

There! Drink it whole once it's ready.

[oh, it's that kind of medicine. this'll probably taste gross, but getting a massage from Marie makes it all worth it.

Osomatsu gulps, then brings the glass to his lips. he takes several swigs, trying not to gag in between. bleh. soon, he's all done]

[ Good boy! Marie watches him drink the medicine down, stifling a giggle when he's clearly having a hard time with it, and then reaching out to pet his head once he's done, mindful of his antlers. ]

Good job! It should settle in within the next few minutes, but I can help speed the process.

[ She moves her hand, pressing her fingertips down on his scalp in a slow motion before pulling away. ]

Oh, but I need to be behind you in order for that to be effective. Can you turn around for me?

[h-he was gonna! he just got distracted staring at her. he makes a face, not to her, but because of the drink, because the aftertaste is still there. but then Osomatsu sits down on the floor in front of the couch, in front of her, with his back to her]

Mmmm, yes. This is nice. Please try not to move around too much.

[ Smiling sweetly, she moves so both her hands are on his scalp now, and she can start her gentle massage. ]

[a girl is touching him... nicely. not punching him, or anything. Marie has always been good to him, and it makes Osomatsu wonder just what he did when he met her the first time. of course, he has no memory of meeting her, before he met her, but that's fine.

he sits still, his tail wagging]

Y-You're good at this.

[it just feels extra good because of moonlacing, right? doesn't matter]

Sighing contently, as the contact is also benefiting her with Chroma, she slowly keeps going, making sure to comb through his head and temples with her fingertips only and no nails, plus avoiding contact with his antlers which are his main source of pain. ]

[gosh, he could melt into a puddle right about now! he sighs happily, relaxing everywhere. the pain is slowly starting to leave]

I wonder if it'll be like this every month, with the horns growing. Or if they'll just stick around.

I did not hear of people having permanent pain from the antlers in the long run, but those features will eventually fade at the end of the moon cycle, unless you use a certain item. It should hurt less in the next months.

[ She carries on, repeating patterns and focusing on certain spots. ]

[ahhh she’s too good! he’s quiet for a moment, just sitting there with his eyes closed]
