[This is it. He briefly mentioned it to Tenn and Ryuu, and it's time. They've been here long enough, and the time to move is now. So, with a upbeat vocal-less track playing from his cell phone in the background, the former Sexiest Man in Japan comes on screen. He has silver hair like moonlight and deep gunmetal eyes, with cat-like pupils. Oddly enough, he's not Cordis.

He's dressed to the nines and has a serious, yet optimistic expression.]

Good evening. I'm Gaku Yaotome, leader of top Japanese idol group TRIGGER.

[He takes a moment to bow politely, like he would do for any intro video. Even if his social skills are lacking at other times, he has the business on this front down pat. Standing upright again, he offers a faint smile.]

Our other members are Tenn Kujo and Ryuunosuke Tsunashi. We'll be in your care. The music you're hearing is a preview of our debut single, "Diamond Fusion". This song means a lot to us, so I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do.

Our idol activities here may just be beginning, but we'll be sure to capture your attention.

[He makes the TRIGGER gun hand sign, poses for a moment with that, then the screen goes black and there's a quiet, whispered "bang". It's actually kind of cool...]

[Bless the hell out of Megumi. He never got to show off to her, did he? Not before. And he's glad she noticed this, honestly.]

We have to leave a little something to the imagination at first. That's good marketing.

[A smile.]

I'll get you the details. We're finalizing the venue tomorrow, with luck. So keep your fingers crossed for us. It wouldn't be the same without you there.

[ That makes her smile, her ears wiggling happily. ]

Such a tease! I made your friend Ryuu sing for me when I met him, you know. I can't wait to hear how you'll sound with him.

[ She doesn't lowkey ship it or anything. Though her eyes widen! ]

What!! Amazing! You have to let me help, Songbird! I've got so much Chroma saved up I don't know what to do with it! At least supporting talent like yours is a worthy cause!

[ She never bothers saving any for herself. Just her clinic and other folks. ]

Ryuu sang for you, just like that? He has an incredible voice when he's confident. I'm glad we're partners in this.

[He grins.]

Honestly, for you? I'll put on a show. Why don't I play my solo for you later? A special fanservice, right?

[But wait. Money. Hold on.]

If you're serious about bankrolling idols, I might have something for you.

Aye! He sang so beautifully too. I'm glad I got to hear it. Of course, I might be biased to you, just a bit! But hearing you lot definitely makes it clear why you're so famous back home.

[ She has the genuine pride of someone who will lift others up happily. His words though, make her giggle. ]

And it's a promise! Let's order something and relax later. I've been so busy, I could use a break with my favourite Songbird! Just tell me what you need funds-wise, too. I'm all ears!

[ Gaku works hard, if she can make it easier for him, she will ]

I don't mind the bias. We'll teach you all the calls, anyway. Do you know what a penlight is?

[He's excited about this. She might be the answer he needs.]

We'll talk about it later, but there are a few idol groups here who could use some help starting up an agency. We need someone to lead it, but long term renting a building with a studio instead of renting on an as needed basis would take some of the burden off the startup groups. You can take a cut of profits once everyone's making money.

Oh, I know! They're those coloured lights, right? Back on Eorzea, there was an idol group called the Songbirds! We had these glowing lights that were in the colour they favoured. During their performances, people were asked to wave their lights to support them so everyone could hear their song!

[ She absolutely supported them, okay? They were the cutest! The thought of leading and helping out, though? She beams. ]

You can leave that to me! Just pick whatever you need and I'll cover it. I don't need to be paid back, but I won't complain if you lot do.

[ Seriously, just.. take it all. She has no attachment to wealth aside from what she wants for food and essentials. ]

I've run a while tribe on my own, a bunch of idols wont be too bad to look out for. What sort of roles do you Earth folks have to take care of your performers? Back home, we've got bodyguards, attendants and managers. I can do all that! And I'm sure I could get others in too

Yeah, it's like that exactly. You're going to pick my color, right? [Grin.] It's gray, or silver. So I'll be watching the audience for you, Megumi.

[He can't help giving her a little extra fanservice for all the help she's given him, here and elsewhere. She's just a darling, and he's a bit enamored.]

What we probably need to get people started most is managers. People to book venues and events, people to coordinate appearances, studio coordination... Then, what? Choreographers? Composers? That's getting ahead of ourselves. Say, do you know Tenshouin?

[menphina]

Like I could pick anyone else? As tempting as Ryuu is, you like me more, don't you?

[ There's a light tease there, but she doesn't mind rubbing his ego a bit because she feels like he deserves it.

It's not like this place allows them to be close for long, once people leave and forget. ]

As for managing- that's easy. It's nothing I haven't done already, aye? Scouting for places to be in, looking for people in similar lines of work... and, making sure my tribe doesn't overdo it! Think that'd do well here, wouldn't it?

[ And at his question- ]

Oh, do you mean Eichi? He's a good lad. I was looking after him when he was in hospital here. We live in the same building! Why, is he a friend of yours?

You're my favorite cat-person, Megumi. Don't worry.

[Grinning, he sighs. She's so damn good to him. He'll be sad if she ever leaves, really.]

An acquaintance, but we've been talking about really getting this going. If it's all of us working together, it might happen sooner than I thought.

[ Sometimes it worries her when she thinks of not wanting to leave... when she thinks that the people she's met here are people she may never see again... and maybe one of those people happen to be Gaku.

They've already been through a lot— she doesn't ever want him to have to go through anything he doesn't have to suffer. But she does smile at his words. ]
