It is messed up. And you admitting to it doesn't make it any better. Your dear friend ought to have known better than to give you something so ridiculous as a present. What, 7/11 was closed? He had to give you something dead instead of slurpees or something. Is your dear friend a cat?

Well, I guess he was thinking of it like...Resin! A bug in resin, or a fossil. I'm interested in nature, after all...But yeah, fossils and ancient bugs are a little different to something that lived half a century ago, too...
