I don't think I've ever used a forum this big before, but I have something I'd like to ask, so here I go!

Is there anyone here who likes to work out?
Usually I get up early to get my exercise in, but I haven't really settled on a routine I'm satisfied with yet.
Going for a run in an unfamiliar place is fun, but it's also a little lonely lol

So I was thinking about putting together a circuit around the groves or the beach!
It'll be mostly endurance rather than strength training, I build muscle quickly and if I go back home with too much I'll get scolded...

Ah, right! And one more thing! I was taking a look at this place

Isn't it cool? I've just been practicing in the park lately, but with TRIGGER's activities picking up, I want to get serious about it.
Is there anyone else interested? It's such a big space that I thought it'd be fun to have more people go! I have sets I'd like to practice, but you'd be welcome to do whatever you'd like, of course. Or I can put together new choreography!
I can bring snacks and drinks, too.

She does have a fantastic voice. She's part of team RWBY and all four of them are here now.

So you fight in teams? I bet that's comforting for her. I felt pretty lonely, when I was away from my group.

Yes, everyone at Beacon was assigned to a four person team. Mine was JNPR, but I'm here without them.

I've spent a lot of time with Team RWBY lately, though, so I'm not without friends.

That's okay! I'd want you to be comfortable too. I have a lot of energy these days without a strict schedule, so I don't see why taking a run in the evenings after rehearsals would be a problem.

I see...our team situation is a little different, but I was here a while without my group too.

So I think I get it, a bit.

I can't say it with 100% certainty but from what I've gathered, most people here don't hail from a world where battle schools are the norm and training to be a huntsman or huntress is one of the lucrative professions.

Ah, no. You're right. I heard a little about it from Weiss.
Even those people I've met who have powers weren't in that position.

I won't say I envy those people because I've known for most of my life that I wanted to be a Huntsman, but I do wonder sometimes what I would do were my circumstances different.

You have a good head on your shoulders. I can't talk about it as if I know, but it seems you're doing important work for your world. And for the people around you.

Since you're here, is there anything you've wanted to try that you wouldn't normally get the chance to do?

Besides catching up on a lot of sleep?

Not sure. I have a few other skills but I've never really considered them anything worthy of a profession.

What kind of skills? You never know what can come in handy when landing a job.

Well, I was known for my cooking at Beacon, when we weren't in class or training.

I also like music, but I wasn't exactly in a position to do much with that save for the dance we had before the Vytal Festival.

Ah! Those are both things I like too! Even if you don't pursue them for work, having cooking and dancing as hobbies can be really fulfilling.

I'd be happy to help with either of them, if you'd like.

I do still cook often here, but I wouldn't be opposed to adding more hobbies. Especially since I don't have to worry about training here.

A large, lengthy festival along with a major tournament for the four different battle academies where the top students compete.

I do too. It gets lonely cooking for one so I tend to cook in my apartment building's communal kitchen. It's kind of fun to see who shows up!

And if you ever want to pursue music, I can always let you know how booking the dance studio goes.

A tournament, huh...it sounds a lot like the big awards ceremonies we hold at home for music groups. There's no actual fighting, of course! But the competition gets really fierce.

My team actually did make it to the finals.

No, it's alright. I could have just as easily chosen not to say anything.

The tournament was actually interrupted by a large scale attack. Our teammate, Pyrrha Nikos, was killed by the woman who instigated it.

I'm sorry. Really. That's terrible, that something like that happened to you...

No one expected it to happen that way.

We know she would want us to keep moving forward, though. And we've been trying to, as best as we can.

You're very strong, aren't you? I'm sure your teammates are lucky to have you.

I don't see a point in giving up, and neither do Jaune and Nora. Or Ruby or anyone else that is fighting to keep Remnant safe.

I'm just as lucky to have them.
