[Video clicking on after a little fumbling as the user gets the right angle. Once he has it a fairly attractive young man is in view bright red eyes looking at the screen as he offers a lazy smile.]

[A happy hum as he settles in the spot he's relaxing in, in front of a piano keyboard.]

So today is my birthday. Which means it's normal to get spoiled and praised, right?

[Sitting up he runs his fingers over a couple of keys on the keyboard, it plays a small tune. Until he leans back in his chair.]

Does anyone know what kind of things are normal when celebrating a birthday here?

Or, even better, what did you do back home for your birthday? I'm curious what kind of things might be fun to do today.

[Gaku carefully cuts a generous slice for Ritsu, putting it on one of the small plates. Then he picks it up and hands it to Ritsu.]

It's not. I just thought you might have plans with your friends.

[A smile forming as he takes the plate.]

I can check...I'm not sure what everyone might want to do?

Well... if you're free after, let me know. I'd like to see you again.

[He cuts a slice of cake for himself, smaller than Ritsu's, and waits for the younger idol to dig in before he takes a bite.]

[Cutting a piece with his fork he pops it into his mouth chewing as his eyes light up.]

[Gaku takes in that reaction, then takes a curious bite of his own.]

...Wow. It is really good.

[Ritsu eats another few bites nodding.]

Yeah...right? It's really good.

[Already having some frosting on his face.]

[Gaku picks up a napkin and goes to wipe the frosting off Ritsu's face, smiling faintly at him.]

I guess I made a good call. They were out of the strawberry.

[Closing one eyes he stays still for the moment...ah, Maakun has done that.]

Then we should check if they have it later?

[Gaku doesn't mean anything by it... he's just that kind of supportive guy. But maybe it's a bit too intimate.]

If you want more cake after all of this, sure. It's your birthday after all.

[It was sweet so Ritsu doesn't mind at all.]

I do want more cake but it's also Gaakun's favorite flavor.

[He smiles faintly at Ritsu for thinking of him, though. That's... nice.]

It is my birthday but it's nice for Gaakun to have some of his favorite cake too! Plus more cake is never bad.

[He wants Gaku to enjoy his cake...]

[He smiles again, sheepish.]

...Thanks. I guess I just wanted to make your birthday a little special. It probably sucks being away from your home and your friends when you'd normally celebrate with them.

[Ritsu smiles taking some more bites of his cake.]

Thank you...I'm really happy, you did a lot for me. It is weird not to walk into class to everyone or into practice to see everyone.

Yeah... I bet. I'm sorry it's like that.

[He just hopes Ritsu has at least a few people to celebrate with.]

Have you thought about going to school here? I know it wouldn't be the same, but there's probably a performing arts school somewhere. Or at least somewhere to take voice or dance lessons.

Gaakun I barely woke up for school back home, Maakun usually had to drag me there.

[He laughs at the thought he would just fail another year in this place. Then comment gets him to smile.]

Hmm, Gaakun hasn't seen me dance yet...or sing much.

[He looks Ritsu over for a moment.]

Let's go out tonight. If you don't end up with other plans, anyway. You can invite your friends, if you want. We'll go dancing and karaoke.

[Stopping eating he looks at Gaku. Well...he was being asked for sure this time. Ritsu swallows the cake piece he has in his mouth then nods.]

Okay, sounds fun. You know some fun places here. Are you going to keep up with me at night, Gaakun?

[He told Ritsu to invite his friends that makes it not a date!]

I'll try. Just don't let me drink too much or I'll get sleepy.

[But was he actually going to invite friends...he might be greedy tonight.]

Gaakun drinking? Haven't see that yet.

[He looks at the cake for a moment, then back to Ritsu.]

I won't drink, then. I just get clingy and tired after a while.

Gaakun is allowed to drink...I wanna see it.

[The mention of being clingy sounds like it would be really cute.]
