Hey! If you're down by the Groves, be careful: there's a really mean goose there! Or, goose-like animal, since this is an alien planet. It chased me around and took my glasses and I had to get a new pair. ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡

Hopefully the Grove staff can deal with it, but avoid going for any nice autumn walks today. I heard it honking at some people as I was stumbling around blind.

Darkness unfurls suddenly from behind Hal. A long arm reaches out...

Emet-Selch gooses him in the ass.

Huh, it got cold suddenly, he thinks, an odd creeping sensation making hairs stands up on his neck.

Then there's a frightened shriek and he lashes back at whatever just grabbed him, electricity sparking from his fingertips. Magic courtesy of his special bracelet.

It's not very effective.

Emet-Selch looks down at his hand and frowns as he shakes it out.

"Was that really necessary?"

"You just appeared in my home and grabbed me!"

His hands were still sparking, but otherwise he stays still. It was a mistake to let someone know where he lived. Especially one that could just teleport in.

"Please, you must admit I was provoked."

He brushes imaginary dust off of the arm that got zapped.

"In any case, shouldn't you be relieved that I am here to protect you in case the goose breaks in?"

Hal put his face in his hands.

"Oh, very well. I can take a hint."

He sighed and hung his head.

"I shall take my leave and let you face this crisis on your own."

"If you want attention, you can just ask like a normal goddamn person," Hal was nothing short of annoyed and put out by the unpleasant surprise.

"Well then, consider me chastised. I shall intrude upon your privacy no longer."

He turns and gives Hal a flip[pant wave as he... Goes and exits via the door.
