Hey! If you're down by the Groves, be careful: there's a really mean goose there! Or, goose-like animal, since this is an alien planet. It chased me around and took my glasses and I had to get a new pair. 。゚(゚´Д`゚)゚。
Hopefully the Grove staff can deal with it, but avoid going for any nice autumn walks today. I heard it honking at some people as I was stumbling around blind.

Bionic eyes don't seem as cool when they're massive goggles that need fairly constant maintenance.

General Ironwood of the Atlas military has some pretty extensive cybernetic work, though I've never been privy to the reason why. A woman that was traveling with us back home named Maria had to get the eye replacements due to a particularly gruesome attack that left her blind otherwise.
She does alright with them but they tend to malfunction often due to age.
I can imagine there's just as many cons as there are pros of going that route for anything really.

Laser eye surgery, where I come from, just kind of makes your eyes feel dry all the time while they heal. I don't know a whole lot else. I'm just so used to glasses at this point.

I don't see a problem with sticking with what you're used to.
Unless a goose steals them, of course.
