((OOC: I'm actually going to be making these loop tracks for babby practice so it may take me a few to get them into the post. They may be shortish and corny. I'm no proper DJ and it's fun to pretend lol. PS Permission post for colour & things. ))

((Edit Oct. 2nd: Had a few people ask last night if I'm doing them still and yes! I'll do them until the interest dies down and have been convinced there needs to be a concert for musical sorts around here and those who want to help or learn. So I'll figure that out some time in the future. Thank you for the lovely reception on these and since a some said they were going through the comments, here's a list except Bro's.))

The glitz and glam of "the future is now" hover-everything just doesn't appeal to you, huh?

How different are we talking? About the futuristic alien technology you've seen. It was getting into late 2019 for me when I found myself on Iris and no aliens so far. Ah, wait. I take that back. I've met aliens, just not the sort you'd think of from books and movies. I guess that's still a pretty broad definition, though.

OK. Give me a minute or two or ten to pick through my library.

There's nothing wrong with that. I'm sure you've come across a lot of colorful people.

I think I've been conditioned to drink tea now that I think about it. I don't remember what I used to drink before I got hired at the Hidden Moon. Probably water. Apple juice sounds good now that you mention it. I'm not sure about Code Red, though.

Biomechanical tech that makes your stomach churn at first does sound like something out of a sci-fi novel. Maybe some author out there got it closer to right than they thought? It still sounds pretty wild to me.

I'm not really sure how to make a distinction about alien vs. alien. It feels like it could get complicated fast. All aliens aren't little grey men either obviously unless you're saying you've met aliens that actually fit that description. Are you, Dave?

Hmm. Try these two on for size. I've been listening to them pretty often lately. The first one especially has been good for training, but be mindful of whiplash. They're pretty different.

That's the name of the tea house I work at back home. As for the apple tea, I'd say you're a genius and that we have to insure this future.

Everyone has their moments, hmm? I think I get what you're saying and how it might be tricky to avoid a xenophobic label in this situation. I think you've done a pretty good job, though. I'm reasonably educated on the basic level, but do I lose points if I admit I think that's kind of neat? I mean, what are the chances you'd meet aliens even with that little bit of overlap in description? There should be a little wiggle room when it comes to wonder.

[ Please hold. She might have needed a moment to laugh. ]

I'm glad you liked it! That's not even close to the proper translation for that song, but I applaud you for your creativity. You really got all that from that?
