Good evening, or whatever time of day you may be viewing this message. I have a small request.

As some of you may know, I am largely unfamiliar with human clothing as well as many human customs. However, I have gleaned that costumes are traditional for celebrating this season. It would bring me great relief if someone were to offer advice on costumes that might fit my body type and would suit the occasion.

A vampire would be the easiest/most obvious with your stature and colouration.
Maybe a mime if you wanted to get more creative.
Maybe a jellyfish! A big hat with flowing tentacles coming off it. Though that might be a bit... not great after what just happened. Still, Iris has jellyfish people.
A devil, maybe?

I fear that a vampire and a devil might be too close to the image I already project. But a mime is an intriguing choice.

My daughter came up with her own stuff once she started to participate, I'm not very good at it.

I have no idea how it works for your people, and maybe it was... racist??? Of me to be shocked that you have a bond with it.
Insects where I come from don't do the social group things like humans do, so the young hatch and are left on their own, no rearing required.

If humans have no bad parents among them, then you should consider yourselves fortunate.
