Yeah, a pet is one thing, but a plant? It's super easy to take care of a plant. How could you forget something like watering it on a regular basis???

I believe that is why. They thought it too easy that it would take care of itself. But all living things need to be nurtured.

Precisely! I wonder if you can do something that could force their hand. A complaint might not change their minds if they could tolerate it looking like this in a business space. They have no pride.
