[ Holding back from swearing still, though it's REALLY hard. But he can't disrespect older people that are obviously way ahead of him with experience! He's rough around the edges, but he's not a wild animal. As he is right now anyway, maybe Bowman can fill that part. ]

And of course, I never neglect that. I got a little sidetracked for a few days, but I'm back at it.

[ Then, he reads that line about the mission. He falls quiet for about a minute and eventually feels… a small relief the Dragon Knights seem to be unaware of what happened. He'd like to bury that incident and avoid causing worry to any of his crew members. He decides to hide it. ]

[ STOP BEFORE HE ACTUALLY DOES. Ayer is horrified as it is, he almost considered it a while ago! Will Siegfried really be hurt by his refusal? But he's such a strong, well-disciplined person— unless he's hiding things? Is Siegfried the easily lonely type? Ayer didn't think about this before. The man is always usually smiling and ready to help everybody. He is such a nice role model. ]
