It does. It's a menace. According to the park caretakers it is apparently the king of the ecosystem here so they don't dare go towards it for fear of retaliation.

It attacked my dog for just being in the -area-.

I may have hit it pretty hard for that. If I die here it will likely be because that monster will seek me out for vengeance.
