If only life were so fair! No. I believe that it is only through our darkest moments that we truly understand happiness.

I can't say I disagree with that. The world's a cruel place.

Often. But that makes it all the more vital that we make it kinder- and perhaps love is one way of achieving that.

Others might laud you, but if that's your honest intention I have nothing but respect. I'm not sure if I have it in me to do the same.

We all have that potential. But not all of us are at the stage in our lives where we are able to unlock it.

You really think it's just a matter of reaching that stage?

I do. The path to it is longer and thornier for some than for others.

Long enough that the end might never be seen, if you ask me.

It helps, of course, if one is willing to actively work towards it.
