I must admit, I had not noticed...

But, more to the point! You are most certainly not dumb. These are excellent questions.
1. Morning can mean whenever you get up to face the majority of your day, whether it is at 6AM or 6PM.
2a. I cannot put it concisely into words. It is more like a feeling of falling away, little by little- you may not even be aware of it happening.
2b. Playing music quietly may help keep your mind from wandering too far.
3. I do not believe so, no. We all have our own methods.

alright.. everything you said pretty much makes sense and answers most of my questions
the only one I have left is: so what if I dont feel that feeling you described while trying to meditate? like ever? what do i do then?

I believe that we are all capable of experiencing that sensation to some extent! But if your desire to reach such a state is driving you to distraction, there is no shame in setting meditation aside for the time being and returning to it another time.
