No, he didn't. I adopted him here. There was a young man named Subaru was doing an adoption meet-and-greet on the beach a few weeks back.

My goodness... You were quite lucky, then! I've always had a high appreciation for dogs, though I've never had the chance to have one of my own.
Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to consider it, with how long we could be here... And I could try to train them to be a therapy dog—

I'd never had a pet before, either. Circumstances prevented me from having one until now. I wasn't considering it either until came across Subaru's gathering. In fact, Tadashi came up to me, so I suppose in that way he chose me, and not the other way around.

Mm, it's been much the same for me, as well. I've always been traveling around the world and never had a safe environment to keep them in. It wouldn't have been fair. This may not be fair, either, if we abruptly disappear, but I would hope I'd be able to bring a pet back with me.

You truly were quite lucky! He sounds absolutely wonderful. I hope I get the chance to meet him some day so I can give him a good scratch. If I do ever happen to take in a pup of my own, I hope they can be friends. I run the clinic on the beach on level 2, if you'd ever like to check. ♥

There are a lot of people from Remnant here with me, so if nothing else I know one of them would take care of him if something unfortunately happened to me.

I take him for runs on the beach at least every other day.

I'm sure he'd love to meet you, and any furry friend you might get in the future.

Remnant... That sounds familiar; I'm glad you have others around, though. It's a bit selfish to say "no one should be alone", but the sentiment stands.
Let's just hope it's a return home instead of anything unfortunate that may separate you from Tadashi.
