i'm kinda on the Bad Lower End of things so close to dying by not like... overtly so. the end of last month was a terrible, terrible time and i don't really get chroma that often

So I recently reread Water Margin, it's been a few years since my last read through, and I noticed one of the themes I hadn't picked up on before-

He won't take long-- there's a knock at Inaba's door in short order, and when she opens it she'll find Atsushi still in his work uniform, messenger bag at his side and looking a little bedraggled.

He just pointedly holds out his hand with a look.]

It's kind of funny, because she isn't even sure if there is someone like that here. All of the people that were always concerned about her aren't here. It just gives her that pang of loneliness that she doesn't want to necessarily be reminded of. She does, thankfully, have enough strength in her to open the door but she is looking a little pale in the face in spite of her trying to smile it out. ]

Very much so, because living in a large apartment by yourself gets a little... lonely sometimes. Or rather, a lot of the time, in fact. But hand holding it is! And she does find herself relaxing a bit, sighing as she listens and even comments about the novel as well. ]
