Then it rearranges itself, and it becomes obvious that someone with a colossal mess of red tentacles for hair that are also glowing luminescent pink in areas is holding his phone at an appropriate distance with said tentacles. Ren looks a bit chaotic, between that and the purplish-white patches glowing on his skin, the purple nails and lips, but he seems cheerful enough, waving at the screen and then waving one of the two additional tentacles trailing from his shoulder blades.]

Hello everyone...I saw a couple of people with this new moonblessing already, and I'm starting to get kind of curious now. We've had that dragon moonblessing, the kitsune, and now this, right? Weird ones that just showed up once and then never again so far. But I'm wondering how many people actually got each of them - I got all three, but I think a lot of people might've only gotten one or two or only been around for one or two, right? Since I think they might've been caused by different things...

[He taps his chin a in a dramatic sort of thoughtful motion.] So I guess what I'm asking is, how many of those weird moonblessings did everyone get? And which ones? Even if you didn't get any of those three, it'd be interesting to know who managed to avoid all of them too...also, if you got pictures of yourself with them, you should definitely show me pictures. I want to see what everyone ended up looking like.

[He claps his hands together to one side of his face in a cutesy, inviting sort of manner. He mostly wants to see if there's a pattern (and potentially confirm his theories on what caused each of them, because he's a lot more sure than he's letting on), but he's not going to act like he's not just curious to see what changes people ended up going through and if they were as radically different as normal moonblessings could be.]

It's been a few months since the dragon thing...I guess if we ever end up going back to where the dragons live, people might be able to change like that again, but I think you'll be waiting a while.

[Considering the journey wasn't a whole lot better than the one to Amegahara, even if it required a bit less intensive training.]

Oh, the snake stuff? So you're Sanguis, then...I haven't seen that many Sanguis people during their cycles, honestly.

[He does have a few Sanguis friends, he just keeps missing them during that time of the month.]

Yeah. It's not as prominent as I thought it would be. The emotional stuff is awful though. Sanguis moods are like "Let's bring out all of Emerald's worst qualities, but worse."

[ Honestly, she can't say Sanguis was a choice that didn't match her. Aggressive in multiple ways and possessive weren't qualities she really wanted to accentuate, and yet the moon rarely cares what a person wants. ]

The scales aren't too bad. I do get cold really really easily though.

Mmm, that always seemed to be the big thing about Sanguis, the mood swings and aggressive stuff...the animals I've seen out of it are kind of cool, but I wouldn't have liked that part.

[Ren very much likes being able to have his emotions completely under control. Cordis essentially just accentuates aspects he already has, so it's a lot easier to fine-tune his behaviour to suit.]

I guess you get cold-blooded...none of the Cordis animals are like that, so I guess we get it a bit easier. Though I've heard feathers are really difficult to handle.

[He's only gotten feathers once, so he can't speak on it as much as some people.]

Yeah. Two out of three of the Sanguis options are cold-blooded, but I haven't seen most people having to deal with it. Why me?

[ It would help if she would wear a jacket or something but you know, she likes to wear tube tops!! ]

That sort of thing depends on the person pretty heavily, I think...like I have to deal with the Cordis metabolism problems every cycle, but not everyone seems to get them.

[He rests his chin on his hand with a bit of a dramatic huff, like clearly everyone should be suffering the same trials as him.]

I'm usually a fox, though I've been getting cat features pretty often recently as well. So I guess I kind of go between both now.

[Fox was definitely the more common one when he first arrived, but in recent months, he's pretty sure he's mostly been getting cat between the aberrant moonblessings.]

Hmm. I wonder if anyone actually makes the sounds of their animals... Have you ever heard a fox?

[ They just go EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEHEHEHEHEHE WAHAH WHAHAHA and she's trying to imagine that now.

Imagining herself hissing isn't that hard though. ]

Once or twice...I don't think I've ever heard anyone make those sounds unless they turn fully into the animal, though. Like Cordis people who turn into cats can purr.

[It's never happened to him personally, but he knows a couple of people who've had that sort of thing happen.]

If they're a Cordis, it could happen. Or an owl or a fox. [Though Ren hasn't actually seen either of the other two happen, unless one counts winged cats as kind of being an owl.]

Everyone I've seen it happen to could talk, so I guess it's probably the same for most people. It'd be hard to get by for the moon cycle otherwise.

..I should buy cat toys just in case.

[ She looks genuinely thoughtful, and mildly excited. She taps her finger on her chin, then tilts her head juuuust slightly. ]

What about catnip?

[ She's. Just a little mischievous. ]

If you want them drunkenly rolling around your apartment, I guess you could get catnip.

[He's assuming this is regarding a roommate, since otherwise it seems weird to be buying cat toys.]

Though that might risk them finding it when they just have cat features, so you could have a fully-grown person drunkenly rolling around your apartment instead...

That might be even more hilarious.

[ As it turns out, what catnip actually does is put cats into a state of sexual arousal, which is also why it doesn't affect kittens. Emerald would likely not be recording anything, or at least not anything she'd be sharing. ]
