Forward dated to the 6th

My moonblessing this month is different from normal! I don't have wings this time, which is kind of disappointing, but I did get some other fun things.

I'm feeling pretty good about myself right now, too, so I felt like showing off one of the things I can do with this new form. Just don't look at this if you've got a boss hovering over your shoulder, or you might get in a bit of trouble.



What do you think? Pretty handy, huh? And maybe a bit spooky, but it is the right season for it.

Apparently. I think this is like when people turned into kitsune a couple months ago.

Did anything happen to you? I mean, when the stuff with the Queen was happening.

Not during the fight, but the Mark of the Destroyer from the ruins did appear on my arm afterward. It's gone now.

Well, I don't remember that appearing on me. But I did kinda get mind controlled by the queen so I was wondering if that could've had something to do with this, but I guess not.

Have you noticed anything else about you that's different besides, you know, tentacles? And skin color?

I'm feeling a lot better about myself, and more self-confident. Also a bit more spontaneous.

It's actually kind of a relief, compared to normal.

Well, that's good. I guess. At least there's no weird instincts you've been having to fight like with the normal moonblessings.

I'm not sure what weird instincts would even come from octopus traits.

Of course, I've only been in this form for a few hours, so I can't be sure just yet. But so far, my appetite seems normal and my behavior is only different because I'm feeling less self-doubt and anxiety.

... Yeah, I have no idea either. Maybe someone who usually goes through the Iris moonblessing would know?

Iris is jellyfish, not octopus, isn't it?

Well, yes, but they still have tentacles. And apparently here jellyfish are somewhat related to octopi, considering what happened last month.

It did seem a little strange to me that the octopus queen had jellyfish minions...

I've experienced some weirder things than that. But other than the moon stuff they could be unrelated. I mean, some people get bunny ears during Iris.
