[Ace and Luffy are sitting together, and Ace has a serious expression on his face. This is kind of important in his opinion, they've got to figure out who their potential allies and enemies are here. Not that being a pirate is a promise of alliances, or Marines a promise of a threat, but it's still good to have a base to go off of. And to Ace and Luffy, piracy is freedom. And the Marines stand for things far worse.]

So this is a roll call. If you're a pirate, let us know. If you're a Marine? Let us know faster.

[Luffy laughs, waving at the camera. He sticks his little finger into his nose, and thinks for a second.]

I haven't seen marines here, or other pirates. Do people here know what a pirate is? [He laughs again.] We're pirates! And brothers!

[Ace's expression softens considerably, and he smiles. He's weak against Luffy's antics, even more so now that they've been separated and reunited.] Yeah, that's right. And we wanna know who else lived a life of piracy back in their home world. Especially if you're from our home world.

Captain Isabela, reporting in! ( What does it matter that she doesn't currently have a ship or a crew? She addresses the feed with a little wave. )

I don't think we're from the same place, though. You'd have heard of me if we were.

Good to meet you. I'm the second division commander of the Whitebeard pirates, Ace D. Portgas. [Oh, his voice falters just a little, but then he grins brilliantly. Even in death, he'll take pride in his place in Pops' fleet forever.] And this is my little brother, Captain Luffy D. Monkey of the Straw Hat pirates. [Luffy is out of view, partially, but Ace just waves it off.]

So you're a big shot, huh? There's a lot of big deal pirates that I can't keep track of though... [Still, he thinks it's best to get the world differences out of the way.] Do you have Marines where you are? Devil fruits? One Piece?

Can't say I've heard of any of those groups. ( She taps a thoughtful finger against her chin. ) Although 'devil fruit' definitely sounds like an euphemism for something.

It's good to meet you as well! I can't say I've met many brothers who are pirates. And you work in different crews?

You'd definitely know them if we were from the same place. Pops was a yonko. Everyone knows who they are. [He raises an eyebrow at what she has to say about the devil fruit. And he's nearly having flashbacks to crew teasing, Thatch was the worst about innuendos.] Do I even wanna ask what a euphemism is? Is that like an innuendo?

[He nods.] We left for the sea on our birthdays, and we made our own ways. My crew got added to Pops', and Luffy's got his own friends to sail with him.

Your father was a pirate as well? Wow, it really is a family business!

( Isabela smiles, delighted. ) And yes! Exactly like an innuendo. You've got it.

Although I must say, I don't know what a yonko is. Is that some sort of rank?

That's what piracy is supposed to be, for me at least. A crew has gotta be like a family. If you aren't that loyal to each other, and willing to fight for each other, everything falls apart. It's definitely a family business, and Pops was the best father that anyone could have.

[She's so nice. He thinks that a lot of his brothers would have adored her.] Yeah. Thought so. I was the new kid for a while on the Moby Dick, so there were a lot of innuendos. I guess it's a long standing tradition to tease the new recruits.

[Ace nods.] You got it. The yonko are the four most powerful pirates in the world.

My crew has always been like family to me, but never blood related. ( She laughs as she thinks about it. ) That's definitely for the best. You're lucky, though, to have had such a good father.

( A beat, and she continues: ) Oh, yes, the new kids are definitely the most fun to tease.

I don't think we had anything like your yonko in my world. There's too much in-fighting, you see.

Mine's not blood related either. That's not important. We're all sons of the sea! That's what Pops always said, and it bound us together.

[He huffs a little, slightly red just remembering it. Some of the older guys were relentless] I was nice to my new recruits. The guys in my division didn't get teased. By me, anyway.

[Ace tilts his head.] Piracy is the biggest thing back home, the only real rebellion against the Marines and world government. We've got a lot of in fighting too, but there's just too many pirates to not have some sorta ranking system.

Captain Luffy responding!

[He giggles before talking again.]

Nope! If someone as cool looking as you was from our world, you probably would have a huuuuuuge bounty and we would know!

( Oh, this is cute. )

How huge are we talking?

Maybe bigger than mine! And mine is a billion and a half!

[He thinks, not too much, since that's not really his forte.]

Maybe two billions?

( Wait, what, what. While Isabela thinks she's worth a lot, even she looks visibly surprised at the stated amount. )

2 billion gold? You could buy several countries for that price!

Yup!

[He laughs, happily.]
