It means exactly that: whatever is necessary. Bare minimum of contact still counts.

That was my understanding, but it's been made apparent to me this isn't the case for everyone. Thank you for your response on the matter.

Have you experienced many difficulties in either understanding another Moonblessed's intentions or in keeping you or your friends' chroma levels in safe zones?

Yes. Most Moonblessed are far more liberal with their affection than what I am comfortable with. I do what I can for survival, but I don't enjoy it.

Have you found any people who are easier for you to work with, or are you still struggling with those who feel trustworthy enough to respect your personal boundaries?

My boundaries mean nobody touches me. You can see where my problem is, yes?

To answer your question more fully, I don't trust anybody here to know what they're doing, let alone when it comes to someone such as myself. I may have found one or two people I can at least get a handshake from without it being unbearable, but I don't seek out such contact. It is only a necessity. Those who so eagerly debase themselves assign useless emotional meaning to their interpersonal connections, and I don't have a need or interest in anything like that.

Only the need and interest as pertains to maintaining your health, which is understandable.

I will state from the standpoint of one who has been in this world for a handful of months, widening the pool of those you find bearable enough to touch will allow you more freedom of movement and action. Compromises are necessary, but as you should remain aware, only within the realm of what you can bring yourself to accept.

I am not going to compromise myself for the sake of others. If they want something more, then they need to untangle their feelings from the matter. There is nobody here that will make me enjoy the process of moonlacing, that much I am certain. I don't see why I'm the one who has to change when I didn't even want to be here in the first place.

No one of us asked to be here, and that's a fact. Likewise, we all must make compromises. Saying you'll enjoy it... I have no reason to believe that one way or another, but pointing toward finding your peace with the ways you're comfortable meeting that need is something every single one of us does. Or we die.

You are, of course, also welcome to die, but I don't recommend it, and by the time you come back from it you'll be in the same position as before.

Regardless, I understand the "concern" but that isn't going to change my outlook on the matter. Who cares if I die anyway? I'm just text on a screen... But let's not worry too much about that. It would be easier to get by if more people were willing to treat it like a standard business transaction, that's all.

I don't disagree. People willing to treat things as a business transaction without crossing lines into prostitution, which carries its own complications, would help make things easier for those inclined to that framework. It may be worth someone investing time in setting up, if they were so inclined.
