[ There is a middle aged man on screen, and his gentle smile causes the lines of stress to crease around his sparkling blue eyes. It feels nice and okay to not just use text; like he'a ready to embrace the people here. For once, he doesn't have his glasses - they wouldn't work around the rabbit ears.

Yes, rabbit ears. They rest down the sides of his head - a lop rabbit - in the same brown as his hair, with little flecks of grey around the very bottom edges. Occasionally, as he talks, they shift slightly forward and back, as they emote with his face and his voice. Nothing as dramatic as rabbits with ears that stand up, of course. ]

Well, this is fun. I watched my partner turn into a wolf-snake hybrid, so this is way easier to deal with! Do we report to the science staff to get scans taken or anything? I'm curious on how my biology changed!

Also, uhm... so, tails. Pants? Mine's small enough I can tuck it inside, but it's pretty uncomfortable. And I'm not at the track-pants-in-public point yet.

I think there's some shops around here that accommodate for... tails, and that kinda thing. Can't say I understood it 'til now, though.

So, regarding the tail question... I'm going to guess that it's also quite rabbit-y in shape? I had something a bit larger to deal with. Required more drastic measures.

Yeah, it's small and round. Well, not round, more of a sausage? A fluffy sausage? But it just looks fluffy when I sit. It kinda flips up. Anyway, it's not that dramatic, but I still have to accommodate for extra lumps back there.

Well, if it's not a big issue, that's fine, too. If it does become an issue, it shouldn't be too hard to find a solution. This probably sounds obvious, but don't just cut holes in something else you own, that'll just end poorly.

( Angela pops on screen and she's baring traits of her own for the moon phase— ones he's seen before to a degree, when they'd first met, speckled in white spots along her cheeks and bared shoulder, now also sporting doe ears perked to see him and dainty, velveteen little antlers. She looks ridiculously happy to see him, hands clasped near one cheek in the typical oh look at youuuuu you're so darling! way people coo over children and cute animals.

She's also impossibly relieved that she's seeing him in some positive state instead of stressed out and nervous, which has been the norm so far. )

Oh, Hal, you look wonderful! ( He looks so sweet!! She loves his ears... Oh, right, science talk. ) I don't know that we need to report to them, but we could have a look at one another if you'd like to be study partners. And I could help you fix your pants if you'd like. I found a way to sew them with a snap so you can't see the hole in them the rest of the month. I have a little tail myself.

( Which she steps back to turn around and show him— you're welcome, Hal, she's only wearing a sweater with lace panties allowing her freedom to show off that tail (which gives a little wiggle, fluffy and white) and the spots going down her thighs. No shame, Honestly. )

I do just fine now, but I appreciate the concern! I'll make myself a little sticky note. No hunching! I'm not old enough for my partner to have to rub my back. Shoulders, sure, that's always nice.

[ He flushed immediately, because that's very bold, but she's just showing him biology changes! It's harmless! And really... really cute. Like, young ladies on instagram doing their makeup and #aesthetic stuff. Sunny showed him a few. His ears roll back and lay there, out of nervousness. ]

( They're small, and she supposes female deer shouldn't have them in the first place, but they're not in her way otherwise— she reaches up to touch one and it's a peculiar sensation, with some basic nerve response. )

[ Wow, what a talented woman. A doctor, kind, a volunteer who's traveled the world and seen so much and -- and... ]

They look so soft. Er, I mean, reindeer horns are, I think, uh, smooth I think is what i mean. Yeah. Smooth. I meant the ears. Uhm.

( All right, it gets an honest laugh out of her she tries to hide behind a hand. No need to make him feel badly for saying something genuine. )

[ His ears shifted slightly, sliding forward and resting there; if he weren't a lop, they'd be up and at full attention. Listening to everything. ]

A wolf-snake, huh? [That's... interesting.] Can't say I got any... animal parts. But I got about as pissy and punchy as the rest of the other Sanguis folks.

I'm getting the impression this is just normal enough here not to cause comment, since Prismals kind of expected me to be some sort of hedonist who acts like he's been hitting the cactus juice for a moon cycle.

Though, given that we're new, you'd think it'd draw more comments. In any case, they do sell pants that are modified for the fact that you've got a tail, so I'd suggest heading to one of the boutiques and asking for recommendations.
