[ There is a middle aged man on screen, and his gentle smile causes the lines of stress to crease around his sparkling blue eyes. It feels nice and okay to not just use text; like he'a ready to embrace the people here. For once, he doesn't have his glasses - they wouldn't work around the rabbit ears.

Yes, rabbit ears. They rest down the sides of his head - a lop rabbit - in the same brown as his hair, with little flecks of grey around the very bottom edges. Occasionally, as he talks, they shift slightly forward and back, as they emote with his face and his voice. Nothing as dramatic as rabbits with ears that stand up, of course. ]

Well, this is fun. I watched my partner turn into a wolf-snake hybrid, so this is way easier to deal with! Do we report to the science staff to get scans taken or anything? I'm curious on how my biology changed!

Also, uhm... so, tails. Pants? Mine's small enough I can tuck it inside, but it's pretty uncomfortable. And I'm not at the track-pants-in-public point yet.

Coffee sounds perfect. Do you remember that cafe we sat outside of at the festival? Five doors down, away from the square, is another one with the most excellent lattes. You can try mine if you're uncertain you'll like them first. And are you trying to make me jealous?

( It's a tease; she's good-natured in the scolding, and it seems she's finished her project— she's unsnapping the back of the pastel pants and she's wiggling into them on camera, then clearly going to toe some shoes on with the way she steps carefully half-offscreen, and then she's tipping her head back toward the camera with a wink. )

I'm ready when you are. If I look all right, that is.

( She'll give him a little twirl, crop sweater showing off a sliver of a toned middle and the spots at her back, tail in clear view through the tidy hole she'd made in her skinny jeans. Is she fit for public consumption? Will you be embarrassed by your strange middle-aged deer friend? Speak now or forever hold your peace. )

[ Hal was so embarrassed, being a delicate, soft-hearted shy person, he actually looked away when she was fiddling around with her appearance to try and get sorted in some degree without her noticing. ]

[ He had hurriedly come back to sit, acting like he had never left out of nerves. ]

[ He immediately logs off because now he has to make sure he smells nice and is all groomed and brushed and his stubble's not too bad -- more like that dilf vibe right now, so it'll be fine. IT'S FINE. Snake won't roast him for this. ]
