your thoughts on time travel and alternate worldlines/timelines: GO!

bonus points. what are your experiences with them, if you've had any, and what are your favorite time travel theories?

Sound logic, but it seems I must correct a misconception. I did not instruct them to look for me in the past or to give me this information; they did so of their own volition, because they are imbeciles who couldn't find their way out of a paper bag without my help, let alone out of the last century.

While I hesitate to ask for elaboration on your theories, lest my current time-travel-related headache become worse, I do find myself morbidly curious. What are your alternatives to time as linear?

...As I feared, my headache's worse.

[ Sorry, Kurisu. He tried, but his way of thinking is ultimately fairly mundane, and this is all just a little too much for him right now. ]

Dare I ask why you've posed this question in the first place? If you're planning to undertake some time travel yourself while here, well, better you than me, I suppose.

Well, I do apologize for my lack of direct knowledge on the subject. I hope your conversations with others prove fruitful.

[ He doesn't actually care, tbh, he just came into this post to vent in the first place. Time travel, man. It's messed up. ]

Scientific, is it? I would have expected all this to fall under the umbrella of magic - supernatural nonsense generally does, where I'm from.

And you're welcome.

[ His insight was super valuable and necessary, after all. ]

Oh, I think you misunderstand me. There's nothing "just fantasy" about magic in my world. It's very real; I speak from experience.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure what places it outside the realm of science, other than presumably breaking most of the laws of physics. But I'm told the two don't mix very well.
