[ he's there in like less than a minute because fate/ servants are scary fast. only he doesn't know exactly where josuke is, so he looks for him until he spots a familiar pompadour in the distance.

That's when he leaps at Josuke with a dropkick. ]

[ Josuke doesn't actually expect the guy to meet him this quickly. When Yan Qing does show up, Josuke is distracted with staring at his phone, looking really ... tired and exhausted really. ]

What's this guy's deal -- [ Insulting someone's mother is so immature, and he's the teenager here! Also, his mom is a supermodel. He doesn't take criticism about this.

He's so distracted he gets kicked right in the head. ] OOF!

[ And falls right onto the floor, bumping his chin. ] What the fuck?! Why are you kicking me for no reason?!

[ Why is Yan Qing like this?! He's the worst already. ] And I'm -- I'm not fat.

[ Don't make a teenager insecure about his weight. He's 181lbs but it's all muscle, ok? ]

[ Fortunately, all Yan Qing does is stay in position. No sudden kicks! Just obnoxiousness. ]

Get up, boy! I'm testing your ability.

[ Oh, so that's what this is about. Josuke is, unfortunately, not hot-headed enough to fight someone just because they're obnoxious at him. IF THEY INSULT HIS HAIR THO...... ]

Forget it. Fighting for no reason is stupid, and people just get hurt. [ He's a pacifist! Until someone insults his pompadour. ]

I already have a work-out routine, anyway ... [ He will maintain his figure nicely, thanks. ]

Hehhh. My routine is way better, though? It made me super hot, and it doesn't even mess up my hair? Ah, but I see. Your hair already looks dumb, so there's no point in switching it up! Hahahahaha!

Something within Josuke snaps and his otherwise relaxed personality takes a complete turn. He stands up now, a disproportionate fury burning in his eyes. ]

What the fuck did you just say about my hair?!

[ maybe we should move it. we are so sorry avdol.

Oh, is that all it takes? Yan Qing cackles. He probably shouldn't be so proud about provoking a teenager into attacking him, but that's just the kind of jerk he is. ]

You heard me, kid. I think your style is shit! Wanna change my mind? Or are you gonna stand there and take it?

[ nah zach can DEAL ]

[ Josuke might have calmed down after getting a punch in or two if the culprit actually looked remorseful, but Yan Qing keeps on provoking him, only fuelling his fury. There's actually nothing going on in his mind right now, no trace of his actual personality. Nothing but violent thoughts about how much he wants to pummel this guy for insulting his hair. ]

Say that again, dipshit!! [ His stand, a huge pink ghost, manifests behind him, fists clenched and ready to carry out its user's orders. ] Say it again so I can fucking kill you! [ Josuke rushes over, his stand floating in front of him now to deliver a barrage of heavy punches in Yan Qing's direction. ]

[The grin on Yan Qing's face falters for a moment, eyes widening at the sudden appearance of a new challenger (?). This kid has a Servant? Josuke doesn't give him a chance to think. All his focus is on the ghost's fists as he dodges each blow. Finally, he grabs the shoulders of the ghost and launches himself over Josuke, forming a graceful arc before landing a fair distance behind him, both feet and one hand on the pavement.]

Good, good! Nice killing intent you got there.

[Yan Qing pushes himself off the ground and gets in position. That caught him off guard, but that just means he may have found someone good enough to match his skill. It goes without saying that Josuke's hair is the last thing on his mind...]

Now it's my turn!

[Like a ball of raw energy, he charges at Josuke, throwing a series of powerful kicks at every angle.]

[ The thing about Josuke's violent fits of rage is that they don't actually make him any faster, stronger or better at fighting. The only real thing they do is call him to action. In fact, his rage blinds him so much that he doesn't quite use his brain as much as he normally would, acting purely only on anger and impulse. With Josuke barely putting on much guard, the kicks make impact, blowing him back and forcing him to clutch on to the bruised parts of his body. Still, he's taking them like a champ, getting back up on his feet right after. ]

That all you got?! [ Now Josuke retaliates, rushing at Yan Qing and trying to get a good flurry of punches in with his own real fists. His Stand does the same from behind Yan Qing, throwing him a fast and quick barrage of blows while crying out its trademark 'DORARARA!!'. ]

[ Oh, he's approaching him? Yan Qing dodges with little effort, hands behind his back, his movements as swift as a sparrow's. Though he is youthful, his body reacts to Josuke's attacks as if he's already seen them. The disparity between their skills is clear, but he also seems to move more sluggishly as the fight goes on. He's getting... bored? ]

Jeez. You're way too angry, man. You gotta focus! Get in position!

[ And then, Yan Qing is gone.

Yan Qing is now behind him.

With a low kick, Yan Qing sweeps Josuke off his feet and, if Josuke lands face first on the pavement, sits on his butt. ]

[ He cannot focus. He's not fighting with his head right now, barely thinking; he's relying only on instinct and a fury that constantly pushes him to seek violence. If Yan Qing wanted a more intellectually stimulating fight, only threatening Josuke's life or his friends could bring that out of him. Right now, he's a bit like a mindless punching and kicking machine.

With the sweep Yan Qing did, Josuke slams onto the pavement, using his arms to cushion his fall. He feels the other guy's weight on his ass soon after, and that only pissing him off more, because he knows he's being mocked. In response he pushes his body off the ground with his arms, doing a little flip in an attempt to throw Yan Qing right off. His stand will also try to grab on to Yan Qing so Josuke can get a hard kick in with his legs. ]
