Lots of people seem a touch down lately. So, everyone! I have a simple game that might cheer us all up, or at least make Iris cycle go by faster for me while I read everyone's replies!

I think it's a very romantic concept, and that you're a lovely person already. It isn't flattery if it's the truth.

You're absolutely right about time being the most valuable gift, however. How easily people forget that. Gifts can be returned and money reimbursed, but you can't turn back time.

And I suppose if you can't cook, that is fair enough. But that can be replaced as well. I wouldn't mourn the cost of a steak dinner as much as the wasted two hours if a date went awry.

I suppose it doesn't matter what you do, really. People's definitions of spending time together can vary wildly.

I'll have to brush up on my lessons; I can't cook myself, really, but I've had very diligent and slightly terrifying teachers to help me learn, here.

You're right though that it really could be anything; we all value different things. I also greatly appreciate home-cooked meals, so I certainly understand.
