Lots of people seem a touch down lately. So, everyone! I have a simple game that might cheer us all up, or at least make Iris cycle go by faster for me while I read everyone's replies!

You have to post your type! Physical preferences, personality traits you really like, your dream partner! Go on and list it, and people can say if they know someone like that, perhaps tease you for your preferences, that sort of thing. You can post anonymously here too, if you're shy! Just have fun!

I know what you mean! It's not so much a matter of being shallow as simply having requirements just so they can keep up with you. No one likes feeling left behind by someone they love, or being weighed down in simple daily matters.

You'll probably laugh at me, but that's fine; I'm actually a fortune-teller by trade! I understand that people aren't exactly fond of that sort of thing, and I don't expect everyone to go believing whatever I say, but it's still what I love doing, so...I'd rather not have my partner look down on me for it. I get enough of that sort of thing from my parents!

Goodness, that must take a lot of upkeep and effort! You have my infinite respect and admiration for your effort. ...I can't understand why someone wouldn't want their partner to be with them at least sometimes, or to be able to understand what you're going through. As long as you didn't always talk shop together, you'd still get due respite from work as you needed, but basic understanding is so crucial! As is something solid and full of mutual trust, yes.

You have a good head on your shoulders. Whoever you choose will be very lucky, as long as they don't fall behind! Haha!

I find a lot of people are willing to settle for otherwise. I understand it can be difficult to find "the one," but I'm not the type to mind waiting. :)

I mean, it's interesting? Magic and fortune-telling isn't real other than parlor tricks where I'm from; magic is mostly illusions and I don't mind it. Fortune-telling I don't usually mind either, but I don't particularly enjoy when people try to swindle others or pretend they can speak to a loved one that's passed on. I can appreciate helping someone move on, but that's rarely what those sorts are doing. If you're that kind we probably won't get on, but if you're not we're square. And I'd be surprised if you don't find people who will accept it here.

Ha ha, it definitely does! But it's a lifestyle I don't mind managing. I like to share all things with the people I'm close to -- as much as I can, anyway -- so why wouldn't a partner be the same? But definitely not just work, although I'm the type who doesn't have a lot of interests outside of it, I'll admit.

That's exactly the way things should be! Settling is never a good thing for either party, so why put someone through a relationship where they're not what you really want? I know no one's perfect, but when it's something as basic as 'being able to keep up with a very active lifestyle', then...It's not fair on you, and it's not fair on them. Waiting is the best, and you'll definitely find someone worth all that time!

Ah, I'm no spirit medium for what it's worth. Just a simple man who tries to be completely realistic about the limits of tarot cards. Swindling never sits well with me either...Tarot's more of a tool for people who are so inclined, and anyone who tries to tell you that it'll actually predict a future set in stone is a conman or delusional. People do seem to enjoy it as a novelty, though; I think it's because I might be the only one from my culture, so no one really takes it as seriously as people did back home...But I don't mind. If I can help people, or amuse them, then it's better than nothing.

It definitely takes a special kind of person to live as you do, if I'm honest...But that just means that your partner will be, too. I'd do a reading, but I think we both know that it's absolutely unnecessary, since even I can tell that you're a woman who grabs her future with her own hands.

Definitely. I get there are some viable changes, but sometimes no amount of couple's therapy will make things better.

Well, don't believe in it myself but I'm learning that there's a lot of things here that I didn't believe in that are... well, pretty different. Wouldn't mind giving it a go sometimes -- shake on it, I guess? Not sure the most comfortable way to transfer chroma. You've got a great attitude about it, though, so I hope you do a great deal of business. ;)

You really know how to make a gal feel special. I'm sure finding someone shouldn't be too hard for you. Does seem to be more younger folk here, though.

...nothing quite makes you feel old like realizing you just said "younger folk," though.
