hi there! my name's hunk. (yes, really.)

sorry if this kind of thing has been brought up before. if it has, i missed it! please feel free to point me in the right direction!

anyway... probably mostly due to cordis problems, people needing food or wanting to learn how to cook has come up a couple of times. and i've also bumped into a lot of people who share a passion for cooking and cuisine! so i'm hoping to organize an easy recipe archive for those who need it AND maybe a team of people available to provide lessons and/or to team up on meal-based community events. that kinda thing!

so let me know if you like to cook and would be down for this? or if you DON'T like to cook and would like some guidance? or just drop your favorite recipes below!

if you're neither of those... which is superior: pancake dinner or spaghetti dinner?

i've taught a few people before~
so i guess i could give lessons to people as long as they're nice about it (´꒳`∗)

nobody would expect you to teach someone who's being mean to you, so... that's a fair standard!

i'm mostly familiar with japanese cuisine since that's where i'm from, but i travel a lot too...
though i do like making desserts more than main meals, so maybe that counts ヽ(´ω｀○)ﾉ.+ﾟ*｡:ﾟ+

sure it counts! i'm not gonna recommend people learn ONLY desserts, but... you already said you have other stuff you do, so there's balance!

kinda... south pacific stuff, mostly? i'm samoan and grew up in hawai'i, which is a pretty good mashup of cultures. so polynesian, east and southeast asian, and adaptations... that kind of stuff.

oh, interesting...i've been to america a few times but never gotten to go to hawai'i ●︿●
i'm usually there to work or visit a friend
though i've heard it has a similar kind of mood to okinawa ( ｣｡╹o╹｡)｣

i don't know much about okinawa, so i couldn't say. if it's the mashup culture, though... makes sense to me!
where have you been in the states? anything in particular you enjoyed?

mashup culture and lots of nice beaches ╮(＾▽＾)╭
my friend goes to yale so i've been to the city that's in before
but otherwise since i'm usually there on business it's the major cities, new york and san francisco and stuff
i don't always have time to sightsee （（●´∧｀●））
but it's usually pretty easy to find good and unique food~

yale's in connecticut or something, right? i've never been. i haven't been to new york, either. been to san fran tho! just to visit.
but yeah i guess a lot of cities are a pretty good mashup.

anyhow, i guess i'm going to try to get a list of people up with specialties etc. so... maybe people will be hitting you up for food lessons?
