so i tried eating some of the candy everyone was handing out earlier and my font tooth got stuck in it and popped out???

my other canine feels kinda loose now too... not sure how to feel or if i should be super worried about this.....

i guess to ease my new panic i should distract myself...

before coming here i don't think i've ever really had candy before so a lot of it is still pretty new to me, especially the chewy kinds...

is there a kind you really like? hopefully if my tooth problem is fixed i'd like to try some new kinds of candy.

p.s. if you have loose teeth please stay away from the candy charly chews

[ and in maybe 15 minutes, a tall guy with a pompadour will approach Ventus. ]

Yo. Is your name Ventus? Well, I'm just kinda looking out for whoever might be missing some ... teeth here. [ He probably should have asked for a physical description. ]

[it helps that ven is sitting at a bench looking at a tooth in his palm when josuke walks over. ven perks up at his name and then smiles, that poor gap showing.]

Ah, yeah! That's me. You're Josuke, right?

[it helps to note that later when he might try and repair the tooth, josuke might notice that there is already the peeking of a new tooth coming in through the gum. not that ven has noticed that himself yet.]

Yup. That's me. [ Looks like Ventus does have the tooth. If he didn't, there's no way Josuke could heal it, because his powers are based more on 'fixing' than 'regrowing'. ]

Might as well get down to it. This is kinda awkward to say, but uh, could you open your mouth wider?

[ven blinks and then smiles again, sheepish.] Oh, um- okay!

[he opens his mouth, cheeks only a little pink knowing someone who is just barely a stranger is looking into his mouth like this.]

[ Right, okay, going to touch this stranger's teeth. It's going to be weird but it's necessary. Don't be too surprised when a large pink ghost man suddenly appears behind Josuke and also starts peering into your mouth, Ventus. It reaches to touch, then ... stops. ]

Dude ... A new one's already growing. What the hell?

Bwuh-? [he saws with josuke's fingers still in his mouth, sorry. it's hard to focus between josuke and his new friend.] A new tooth??

Yeah! Oh, you probably can't see ... [ Josuke rises back to his normal height now, no longer peering awkwardly into Ventus' mouth. ]

There's like a baby tooth that's growing and shit. Wait, how old are you? [ He looks young, but not so young he should still be losing his baby teeth. Ventus is somehow older than Josuke though. Anime. ]

[hmmm that's a question with about three different answers. ven rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.]

Um, I guess I'm sixteen? [thanks kh canon. ven opens his mouth again to feel at the gap with his finger, feeling the sharp tip of a new tooth.]

Maybe it's a new moonblessing...

Whoa, same age as me. [ But Ventus is kind of tiny! Then again, so if Koichi back home. Actually, he's getting some Koichi-vibes from Ventus too. ]

You're probably right. Maybe you're gonna get dog-teeth or something. It looks a little sharp.

Oh, that's cool! It's kinda hard to tell ages around here, what with all the changes people go through.

[thankfully he's not as short as koichi, poor guy.]

I hope whatever it is just sticks to these two teeth and stops there. Going around with gaps in my teeth is super embarrassing.

[ There's a snort. Pfft. ] That'd be pretty funny, actually -- [ Okay, okay, he'll try not to laugh. ] But you're right, it'd suck.

[ He's just a dumb teenager. They laugh at anything. ]

Well, I can't really put your old tooth back if there's a new one growing. I don't even know what would happen, actually, but it'd probably be painful. [ The old tooth trying to push the new one back into its gum? Yikes. ]

[ven grimaces at the mental image josuke paints for him and then shakes his head.]

No, yeah I think I'm okay with... waiting for this one to finish coming in. Jeez... [he pockets the tooth for now and glances back at the pink stand behind josuke.]

Um... can I ask who that is behind you?

[ But you got a souvenir at least, Ventus!! Josuke is pretty used to this question, so he thumbs casually at Crazy Diamond. ]

This guy? His name's Crazy Diamond. He's my Stand. [ And he doesn't expect Ventus to know what a stand is, so he continues: ] Something like my fighting spirit, or a ghost, almost, who packs a mean punch.

[ But of course, he didn't bring Crazy D out to punch Ven or anything!!! ]
