I hadn't meant to pry, I apologize. I'm a doctor; it's a bit of a bad habit to always ask what's wrong.
But I think I may know what you speak of either way; I've been subjected to my own unfortunate side effects. No one has quite been themselves around me, and I'm not sure how long I'll be able to manage quarantine.
( Is it a joke...? Survey says no, she is actually trying to keep herself in her apartment, but it's really not going to last very long. Especially since she's already nearly killed her roommate from the hormonal whiplash of (turned) on-again (worn out)-again he's suffering. )
May I see? And thank you! It is one of the most commonly-spoken languages, after all. It is usually a safe bet while traveling around, especially working with the UN. I'm Swiss, so I speak Zürichdeutsch as well as traditional German, a fair bit of French, and my Arabic has been getting better. I was only really able to say numbers and read off medical form fields at first along with "Where are you hurt?". Many of the others I pick up I forget just as quickly; I can't blame anyone for not retaining a language they don't speak often.
